I remember driving my truck out to that point to fish. WAS the best spot to fish from the beach, brought in some monsters in complete darkness a few times lol

That inlet scares the crap out of me. It's not the rough ride that bothers me as much as the channel depth

Cool idea, but it needs to actually shred/cut the bait as well. Throw in whole baits, and out comes chunks, THEN you would have something!! ;-)

Red on right when returning.. Always follow the Chanel markers in that order and you will be in the Chanel.

This inlet isn’t like that it changes so much. You can hear the captain getting local knowledge from someone on the radio telling him to turn to the north and then head toward center span of bridge

That cover above the instruments looks like it is ready to take your teeth out if you hit a rough wave.

I have taken many a boat through there in my 20 years of commercial fishing. That inlet changes fast and can be a rough ride. Good job guys a boat is just a boat it's the crew that gives it life.

so if the heart was still in, what would you use to pump the blood out with? Last I checked most hearts had valves.

Thats not rough at all. We ran a 41 ablemarle convertable out through oregon inlet when the commercial fishermen wouldn't go out

We rolled through Oregon Inlet in a 26ft Regulator center console, twin Yamahas, when it was much, much rougher than this and it is the only time I can remember being truly worried for my safety while boating. We even called the Coast Guard to give them a heads up, and that if they didn't hear from us in the next 15 minutes to please come and search for us.

That place does get pretty scary from time to time. I wish i had a camera when we had to come in on one motor in a 45 viking and of course the inlet was breaking all the way across. I have been on a 56 TaylorMade in some bumpy stuff I liked the ride alot plus it was wide and had a huge cockpit. Do want one some day

"If it wasnt for this inlet this boat wouldnt be here" True That !!! good job to the crew of the no quarter one of the toughest inlets to run on the east coast.
