I appreciated the life story of Jim Elliot. In 1983 I had the opportunity of serving as an aircraft mechanic with Mission Aviation Fellowship in Ecuador. I can attest to the fact that God did a wonderful work in the lives of the Waorani (formerly known as the Aucas). They are a beautiful gentle people now, transformed by God's power and love, a work which began with the sacrifice of Jim Elliot and his partners.
