The way that he performed is a drop jump, I don't think it is a depth jump. Drop jump, minimum knee bend, minimum ground contact time.

If I get this straight, isometrics prepare you for the actual workout by improving the mind-muscle connection but they are not meant to be the actual workout. Is that right?

@@youli3568 Nope on pecs. I’n fact, I haven’t used bands in about a year. I do kettlebell and heavy club work now.

*By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*

I don't understand the belt around the waist with clip -- what purpose does it serve?

Seems like it unlocks it. The lower you go it stops. More for safety I assume.

It is a brake control. Brake is on when cable is loose, as you climb on. As you get into position brake releases and speed increases. The higher on the ladder you go the more the brake decreases and speed increases, and vice versa. If you stumble the cable will go loose and brake will engage to prevent injury.

Hello! I tore my pec 2 month ago. I can bench but not heavy weight. I have head that these static hold, isometric holds are good for pec teat rehab is it true?
@ofngol2 жыл бұрын
I don't know about these specifically, nor am I a physical therapist, but I've heard being able to work out the muscles being rehabbed - regularly that is, and progressively too - without causing pain is a good thing to slowly bring it back up to condition.
