@@Gacha_Otomen yeah but everyone was kids back then, ofc everything sucked. but i do have some memorable good videos, like the golden child made by dogfish the dogfish, or the entirety of emilykitty’s channel. Back then, people put more effort in their gacha videos, now, people will take 30 minutes and slap on an overused edit for a gacha life tiktok trend and get like 30k+ views. there is no effort anymore. There is no more times people will spend days on animation memes, now it’s just 30 minute copy and paste tiktok trends and nearly everyone’s content looks the same, from what i’ve observed. im glad i quit the community because even now, it still reeks of toxic unnecessary dramas, and pretty much every og gachatuber quit

i know back then, there was still the same copy and paste videos, but it wasnt NEARLY as bad as it is now, and plus when there were copy and paste videos, even THOSE took more efforts than what’s being made now. back then, you would have to learn and earn with the effort of growing a big channel, gaining skills and such, now with a quick 5 min google search you can speedrun making gacha content and copy and paste it. the gacha life memes back then would take hours to make, and now it’s like 20 minutes? i miss the old community because even though it was toxic, it was toxic because everyone was KIDS. LITERAL CHILDREN. now? all the dramas i see are older people messing up….which makes it even worse…. the most gacha content i always see is boring commentary stuff which is also copy and pasted pretty much (and trust me, i know a thing or two about that)

@@irisinmars Is there more effort, though? A lot of it was the same plot over and over again. We just put our effort in different places. And sure, the OGs are gone, but what about the new people? Victaton, Y3llow, Mika Roy, etc. we move on and grow. Otherwise, our community would be stale. Change isn’t always easy, but it makes our community beautiful. Also, you seem familiar in a way I cannot put my finger on… What other video did you comment on!
