I like that Barbara actually seems to know a bit about Clive and has clearly done some research on him. She has quality questions and works his answers into the rest of the interview.

Why can't I find the clips of Cornwell being interviewed by Sander Vanocur that were shown when the Sharpe series was shown as a marathon on the History Channel back in the 90s?

Ironic he says a book idea was "too good for television", considering how he now says that we are in the Golden Age of Television.

she is the rudest interviewer. Even if she didn't try to contradict everything he says, the details whereon she focuses are just like wtf bitch who put you in that seat? I promisee you I'm not trying to troll, when he started talking about that book with the chileans and making an america in south america she makes an immediate change into how he dies........ how about ask about that concept a little more? how could you not be interested in that

Here are a few examples that make Cusslers books EXCEPTIONAL & AMAZING. The following examples are from 'Poseidons Arrow': Ch 14: Pitt nodded to the man (a barge captain helping lift a wreck) then turned to follow Giordino out the door. As he exited the wheelhouse, he noticed the old man's CDL hanging on the bulkhead. Seeing the name Clive Cussler printed on the document, Dirk wrinkled his brow then hurried onto the deck. Ch 10: the man strolled across the decks with a pair of scuba tanks under each arm showing all the strain of carrying a feather comforter. His arms were almost as thick as his legs, while his chest bulged like an over inflated tractor tire. Al Giordino's (Pitts right hand man) brown eyes and dark curly hair reflected his Italian heritage.

What a great line, makes me want to go get the book off the bookshelf and read it again - '‘Once upon a time, in a land that was called Britain, these things happened . . . . and I was there, and this is how it was.’ The Winter King.

Linda (UN)Fairstein and all her cohorts need to pay for their crimes now, becuase her "career-ambition" has illegally, and wrongfully put namy innocent men (Central Park 5) behind bars ruining their lives. Scientific facts (DNA) has proved them ALL innocent, whereas Fairstein's "ambition" has only brought shame and disgust upon the entire NYC legal and justice system. It's unbelievable that this perpertrator (Fairstein) cannot even say "I'm Sorry". ?

And prolific. Can't believe she wrote 1,400 articles for those periodicals before doing her books. What an amazing story about Ted Bundy too. Ted gave good advice to cops on how to catch the Green River killer later, btw.

her comment at the beginning of this part seems pretty racist. just listened (audio) to her most recent title & it really came across as racist. all the primary characters apparently white & all the villains people of color. not to mention an ultimately absurd plot. kind of a bummer because she seems like an otherwise intelligent writer.

I am finding out that the case against Bundy was not so "tidy." Da Ronch was worked on by police with hypnosis and more before iding Bundy Sperm found at Chi Omega was from a Non secreter-does not indicate blood type. Bundy was a secreter and should have been ruled out. He did not confess untill days before his execution while previously insisting he was innocent. He could have plead guilty and saved his life. Too late now.
