I saw her dance yesterday. She was with Cherish the Ladies. She's such a nice girl, young woman. She's 23 now.

Mmm men does not dance slip jig? I see a lot of girls dancing but never mens ir boys, Is slip jig a girly thing?

alfonso hernandes cabrera that’s correct, only girls dance slip jig, although I have seen quite a few boys competing in it recently (but only in the grade levels).

In soft shoes, it's a girly thing... Sometimes is slip jig done in heavy shoes both by girls and boys. :)

@@teenagefugitives5788 thanks I was just wondering that a lot. Some time ago I saw a video of a couple (woman and man) dancing a slip jig and hardly saw again a man dancing slip jig.

Some time ago I saw a video of a couple dancing on hard shoes, it's quite and old video on black and white, and I was wondering too if the way they dance is an specific style of dancing because it looks quite different from the style the girls do in the video, more "steppy" and not so "hoppy"
