This is so helpful to use when painting, but could you maybe do a video on mixing it and how you get the color you like and the consistency? Like I felt like when I tried to replicate this or attempt to, it was a lot more watery and blended together too much. :( I love your style of painting!

I dd pretty much the same things. I quit my job back in 2022 to go full time on my art career, but to also focus on my graphic design course. I failed on my art career the first time around, but I'm not giving up on my dreams. I've found a job to help me with my art journey. I'm posting on my Instagram and Tumblr 5 days a week, and I'm also working on my KZbin Channel. I'm going to take it slow this time around, and one day I'll get there. I'm debating about college because I've found that I have no passion for it, and I don't know if I want to finish it. But that's something for me to decided.

Thank you so much 🥰 these are with traditional gouache, so it reactivates with water. I love gouache so much too
@JRose-zk1ni23 күн бұрын
@@sofiapavanmacias Ok and do you ever use acryic gouache? When you paint over something with the traditional gouache, do you have to wait until the paint is completely dry? I'm so impatient - I don't wait long enough because it always ends up lifting off the page.

Your colouring is amazing. I am exhausted by constantly trying to master the blending techniques we are often shown. It was so refreshing to see your approach and that's it's okay not to blend and you can still get brilliant results.

I have this same dilemma with reference photos. How do you give proper accreditation to the owner when you really don't know the OP of a lot of photos. Sometimes I don't know if I can post a painting that I did because of the reference. Knowing its okay as long as its reference is nice.

Thank you so much for this video. It is so helpful for artists to share their process and offer advice. There are so many artists on KZbin who film themselves painting, but speed up all the important bits and record a voiceover where they’re just waffling on about nothing in particular. It’s so hard to learn anything from those videos. But you’ve really made an effort to show how you work and I really appreciate that. ❤

I think having you talk through your mindset of each step makes it maybe more informative than a typical tutorial. It was such a nice surprise to see this video come so soon after your last one.
