Are there any questions about sensory issues? The majority of my daughter's symtoms are sensory related: around clothes, food, smells etc. She can be quite social so I'm scared they will say shes not autistic even though she has meldowns over her socks because she'll make eye contact!

We just call it school camp in Aus. Maybe for a very short one, overnight excursion could be used.

We call it a residential. And yes PGL is a company that organises lots of trips for schools and organisations lol!

Hi rhi what print company do you use to print your planners?

I'm normally pretty good with meal planning; even when my mum (who I live with) is a careworker and has the not so occasional last minute shift change (initally scheduled for a day shift but moved to a night shift the day before, meaning what we scheduled won't work a lot of the time) but we've had no kitchen for 3 weeks as we're having it renovated, we needed a lot of prep work done with electrics, insulation board, floor leveled etc which has delayed installation but installation is supposedly beginning end of this week. We've a temporary kitchen in the garage (wanted a belfast sink with a showerhead so that we can bath the dogs when they come home mud caked from the park etc so we have a sink thankfully) but no access to an oven and half our pots don't fit the hotplate we bought so our options have been super limited and made planning virtually impossible, can't even really do salads etc in the good weather bc we have no way to cook up meats to have cold (we have an airfryer which has been a godsend but it's not suitable for that sort of thing, we've actually been using breaded chicken burgers etc a lot) so I've had to give up on it temporarily. I am so looking forward to being able to actually meal plan again, it really is a pain not being able to do so when you use it so much.

😊I do a fridge & freezer check every Friday and then plan the weeks meals using what I've got first adding any items I need to a shopping list. I do an online shop once or sometimes twice a month for more bulky items. Just buy fresh veg & fruit milk & bread when needed. I tend to include meat & fish on my online order. I'm sure since I started this system I've saved money & I've definitely cut out a lot of waste. It's great not having to wonder what to have for meals - just look what's an option from your meal plan and just cook 😊

I enjoy the hauls and meal planning videos you create. I enjoyed the Aldi come shop with me as I go do in our local Aldi sometimes as a change from Tesco online. It’s interesting to see the different products though I end up doing a top up shop elsewhere as they don’t have the biggest choice of things. I love the fake Slimming World lunch pots to take to work. X

I love your meal planning system. I have a chalkboard up in my kitchen to write what we’re having for dinner on it but sometimes I forget or change it if things go a bit pear shaped😂 ! My two kids are grown up now but I still like to plan out what we have so hubby knows what we’re having. I used to do the rolling meal plan when my kids were little and I just put everyone’s favourites onto it. I do online shopping sometimes or do Tesco click and collect as I just can’t face going round the supermarket after being at work. I definitely think online supermarket shopping is a game changer. X

I am now doing this now I do it for the whole month I go shopping in store and one online the online is for all my heavy stuff.

So many interesting points in this blog. I definitely don’t buy for both kids just because I’m buying for one - they get what they need as and when they need it. Unless it’s special Disney outfits or something, obviously! We are currently looking at a private adhd assessment for my son, and that is with a view to medication. We feel like we know he has it, and us and school have out lots of things in place to help, but his concentration is holding him back. My friends son takes medication on school days and says it really helps him concentrate, so 🤞🏻

The Libby books are nice. There are 3 so far. First one is Libby and the Parisian Puzzle.

Imposter syndrome relating to our adhd diagnosis is very common! And medication has changed my life after being diagnosed at 40 last year! But if someone is adhd and autistic, and Predominantly adhd, when take medication autistic traits come out like they have me and now I'm going for autistic assessment. Wanted to add I have 1 daughter with autism non verbal and another going for autism and adhd assessment on waiting list.

I was diagnosed with ASD and ADHD a couple of months before my 40th birthday. Seeing as you have children with neurodiversity it wouldn't surprise me if you also had one or the other or both. It's a real eye opener when you suddenly realise and also when this is confirmed by profressions. It's certainly helped me to be a little more compassionate towards myself. My son has ADHD and I would not medicate him as I feel as though it wouldn’t make him who he is. I know he has struggles at school due to this but the school have accepted that I don’t want to medicate and are working to help him. He doesn’t sit in lesson on his seat due to this and have put strategies into place and helps

I have had feelings that I am adhd but tbh I am too scared to get a referral because how long it will take and also I feel that it will mean I won’t get to where I want to be in life But if I am it would explain so much!

I would love to know not only about organisation methods and how you get things done but then how you actually implement them and stick to it. I know every method going but ive yet to ever stick to something more than two weeks. Any tips!

Rhi do the pads stay in place in the bras? I've got similar from primark and the pads all fold up each time I wash them and they're really hard to unfold. Thanks

I was lucky with my boy joggies, sweatshorts, tshirts. I struggle with my dd12 shes not really in to fashion and funny with textures. Things for her can be too girlie or short etc. Anything stitch works aslong as it hits her markers comfy, oversized etc. She wont wear anything above her bellybutton which is challenging as shes slight too. 8 miss the fling a h&m dress on and be done. Atleast she still loves her shorts and tshirts. X
