Still trying to determine when this was taped. I assume 2003 or around then? Cheap Hitachi camera quality clearly but it seems like the fieldwork was done at points even earlier , perhaps the 1990's?

The onleyville section of providence was just as run down as Southside here now in 2023 its still considered the poorest nairborhood in RI.

I worked at Southside Community Land Trust for about 7 years. They have done lots of work, not just revitalizing the land, but investment in the people of the South side.

I just saw this video for the first time.I lived this.Lived on Milk St.off Public St.,a block from the Prairie Diner.
