I often play it with the children at the preschool facility where I work. They love the 'spaceship landing'. Children who are afraid of thunder get over their fear when they discover they can stop the noise of thunder by 'grabbing it by the tail'. Also use it for storytelling. Great instrument!

A young man we call Captain Kori of *Kraken the Box" KZbin channel just received one of these and is having fun with it. Kori is almost 12, has had 2 heart transplants and is now in palliative care. He has quite a following, starting with Johnny Depp - Captain Jack Sparrow himself! I sent him the link to this tutorial and his mom says it's awesome! Thank you for this video that's entertained a young boy celebrating the end of a too-short life. He's spread so much joy and fun with his videos and Facebook page.

Course this tuner would work but it's not telling you necessarily if the string is in the correct no it's supposed to be. I think that's a big part of what this video is missing. Because for the most part looks like a chromatic snark style tuner and that means whatever the note is currently by the logic shown in this video you just have to tune it till it's in the middle green. So what if my E string on my guitar is the d flat that means I'm going to tune it to a d flat perfectly. I came to this video to try to find the tuning of a Melody harp and it failed. For anyone wondering I believe that the tuning for a Melody harp is G major. G A B C D E F#/Gb G. G major like all major scales are 7 note scales. Using the pattern WWHWWWH. w means a 2 Simi to increase. H is 1 Simi tone increase. G[g#/ab]A that's is a w movement. GwAwBhCwDwEwF#hG. Note that there is no flat(b) or sharp(#) between bc and ef. Hope it helps

Before remo had their own website they used the domain “thundertube”. The old toys had this website etched on the side, and I remember looking it up as a kid and finding they no longer had that domain and the website was very different 😂

The problem is that some of your song cards require an F# (for example) or the tune isn’t right. I don’t want to have to retune my Melody Harp for different song cards. Please advise. Thank you.

There's another tuning video on KZbin that shows no F strings but 2 F# strings when tuned to G Major. That may work for you. Good luck!
