thanks, I like the way the voice came down on this one. Hopefully it will be my last for a while, been rehearsing this new project of my own material that seems to be more shiny than others songs. Which is why I started doing covers anyways, to reconnect to my own voice. Peace to you and yours.

thanks for checking them out! I was trying to stay right up on the mic for this one so I feel like it moved forward even more than usual. I'm pretty obsessive about lyrics, meaning and gender when it comes to these covers; very interested in unpacking and processing of songs which are mostly written by women and queer guys. My understanding of the songs change over time and as I internalize them. All that to say why I think I emphasize words and concepts which are less prominent in the originals.
