Hello my new motorcycle brethren i just got an r6 2016 and i dont know hownto tell if its has abs on it and yes i am new to the yamaha r6 and got it off owner that didnt know if it had one either so i am asking if you guys know if it has it ,its pretty much stock besides the toast exaust on it but other then that i think it is mostly stock

That’s epic that you sold the R7 for an old R6. R7 is a good bike, but it’s no inline 4 replacement. Stay safe out there!

I’m looking forward to buying my first bike maybe by the end of the year and it’s a R6. Just a few questions 1.) edited cause you answered my question in this video 😊 2.) how much do you pay to fill it up? Does octane matter? 3.) how many miles do these bike usually last to? 4.) will it make a decent bike for commuting to work and driving around a busy city like Miami? 5.) anything particular habits of this bike? Like, do you HAVE TO get the rpm’s up to move? 6.) I’m 5,9. Would I be able to flat foot it? Thanks again brother, love the channel and look forward to seeing more videos 🤜🤛

I appreciate your videos so much! Earned my subscription! I’m looking at a first bike and after watching both I’m leaning more to the R3 based on the type of riding I’ll be doing! Mostly highway riding so not too much in the city! :)

I paid 11k for this one with 3000 miles bone stock! 8k is a good price for a 16 with 4000 miles!!

I would start with the R3 or R7. Those bikes would be better suited for a beginner. I had to earn this bike after 20 years of riding my friend. Best of luck!

Cool video. Trying to decide between e the two bikes. I love the looks of sports bikes and truly want the r3 but am afraid the riding position will hurt my back. Never rode a motorcycle before. Want comfort and good looks. On to pt 2.

I have a Versys 650, too, and it’s a great, comfortable ride. Riding position is excellent and yes-perfectly blocks the wind. Seat is nice n’ comfy. Power is linear and it does build nicely and get a little exciting. Tops out with me on it (200 lbs) at about 125+. It is a sport tourer, though; definitely not a dual sport. I got some Scorpion 2’s on it and that turned riding on gravel from a “riding on marbles” experience to “doable,” but heed this advice: you can carefully (not entirely enjoyably) ride fire roads, but do not take this bike off road. That will be a disaster if you do.

Recently dropped my bike and the stock turn signal cracked the upper right fairing. I just installed the Halo GTR turn signal and it fits perfectly with my R7.
