Hello,i have the same flash on my d5100, i'd like to know if the trigger is needed when using the slave mode, as it seems to me in the video it s not used for that mode...thank you for these video

The slave can be set to fire when it detects the flash from the main unit. I can't remember if the flash units are also wireless transmitters.

I haven't used them for a while but I think the sleep can be turned off on one of the menus

I have my copy of this lens on a Nikon D5600. It would have to be one of THE most versatile lenses on the market. The lens is made for APS-C cameras not Full Frame. So for focal lengths of 27-600mm FF equivalent on a smallish camera (D5600) I think it is an unbeatable general purpose lens. I never take the lens off the camera so no dust on the sensor and can basically take any photo I want with regard to good photographic technique, tripods included. So I use this setup as a point and shoot with amazing optical crop thereby being able to get a full 24MP shots. Cheers

Thanks for the review.I bought this lens beginning of last year to use with my Canon 90D. Love it! Excellent image quality and no complaints. Use it 95% of the time. Unless I am in the city, Highly recommend it.

Nice work, I have a earlier model similar chipset camera. One thing about these stabilised action cams like this, even when the stabiliser is turned off, the image is still actually stabilised, just slightly less though. Also 4k or higher is great if shooting moving scenery, or detailed areas at walking pace or higher. Anything like a still video or low movement, 1080p is more than adequate. Looks a worthy camera.

It could be you speed is too slow. Use 2xzoom. I. E. At 200mm, 1/400th sec.

The defusers were shipped with mine, but that was a quite a while ago. You should find some on ebay or amazon.

I believe the canon version of this is gw 680 or something like that. I love the price point of this model though

I had great difficulty getting the 18-400 to autofocus with my new Canon EOS R7. After discussion Tamron I learned there is a firmware update for the lens. I got that done for free at shop I purchased both camera and lens. It works great how

It could be a viltrox adapter incompatibility. Try manual focusing to see if that gets a good and sharp image.

on my version of Z50 there was lack of screen protector with writings. There was only screen protector without labe l.

You charge the battery in the camera. This vid was quite a long time ago and I can't quite remember about the attachments. From memory, there was no headstrap but there were lots of other straps and attachments.

I got one of these a month ago with some AAA batteries for my electric toothbrush. Since I got an 8 pack with my order, I hadn't tested out the charger itself until recently, and I haven't been able to get it to work correctly. The batteries themselves don't click into place when I put them into the correct slots, so they shuffle around and I think that is why they're not charging at all. (I know the device itself does work because the lights come on when I plug it into an outlet, but not when I put the batteries into the slots.) I contacted EBL support for help and they sent me another charger. Same issue. The only thing I have noticed that could be an issue is that the batteries I have are AAA at 800 mAh whereas the ones shown here are 1100 mAh. (That's the only thing I can think of, but that would be silly since I bought the 800 mAh AAA batteries WITH the EBL charger together.)

It will work on a full frame body but only in crop mode. I suppose there are situations where the zoom range could be useful, generally however, I doubt this lens would be a good choice on a full frame body.

Are z50 today at year 2022 good camera to buy? It seems to be 3-4 year old release. Thinking that are that cancelled and came new release to replace it. That is most annoying, buy some product and short time, there is new product release replacing it. And thoke kit lenses, are those good? Everybody says that kit lenses are not worth to buy. Usually they are cheap to pay, but also low quolity.

I think the z50 is about 2.5 years old and is a very popular choice compared to similar Canon, Sony etc. Nikon may release another model but I don't know. In my opinion, the Z apsc kit lenses are very good, if you pay quite a bit more money, you will get better lenses. Since the review, I wanted to go full frame and brought into the Sony E system with a a7iv, it is a big step up in cost and functionality. I have kept my z50 as a travel camera because it is small and light. If I were starting today, I'd buy the best Sony with e mount I could afford and buy full frame lenses. That way, I can upgrade to full frame camera in future and protect my investment in glass.

Hi, please advise...... at 18mm which shows best image quality... Nikon 18 300mm lens or Tamron 18 to 400 mm.... Similarly at 300 mm....which of the two shows better results

Is it possible to change flashes intensities from the camera itself?

There is a manual and auto mode. In manual you change the settings yourself. In auto, as you zoom, change appeture etc, it will modify the flash settings within what it is capable of i. E. It does not have high speed sync and so speed only goes so far.

just found your video, which is excellent. I have a question. I was running my Tamron 18-400 on my D7200 and I love it. I recently bought the Z50 and have not been able to get the 18-400 to work on it. All the other lenses I ran on my D7200 work great except the 18-400. Did you have any problems with yours or did you make any adjustments?

I attach the 18-400 to the Z50 with the original FTZ adapter and it all works fine, without any special configuration, including auto focus.
