Sounds like a old belt drive on that red and white tail dragger. Funky sounding!! Those guys are taxing out way too far from the shore. Seems crazy to me. No wonder several had trouble with the rudder on takeoff, you can't see the aircraft very well.

Nice! I put floats on one of my E-planes and couldn't get it off the water!
@Trumpet202 ай бұрын
Which E-Plane?
@scotabot782643 минут бұрын
Sounds like you don't have the floats set up properly in relation to the airframs datum line and CG. I'm sure that's what it is unless the model is severely underpowered!!

These are great! I’ve not seen rc float planes before of this scale. Being from the west coast of the United States, I must ask if anyone has a fire bomber that can scoop water from a Lake then drop its load. Has anyone seen one of those?

Hi there! Great video - a question for you. Is this club in BC only for advanced enthusiasts in aeromodelling? I see huge scale planes and people coming with their trailers, looks a bit intimidating. I just moved to Vernon BC, late 20s looking to get into the hobby. Maybe start with a RTF kit or something. Is this the wrong space to be in? Are there any members of similar experience with flying?

The Vernon RC club is for all skill levels of pilots. They have a great training program - www.vrcas.org/

A very nice video Mark, nicely done. You seem to be in an area without much of the smoke that's ruining the sky and air quality throughout the Okanagan at the moment. What they say about Kamloops must be true (and that's a good thing!) Thanks very much for sharing, thumbs up! Cheers, Bob

Hi Chris, I'm using and learning Adobe Premiere Elements 14. The new version is premiere elements 2018. You can try a trial version and then buy it outright or i think you can go on a monthly plan and then you get the latest and greatest version they sell. www.adobe.com/ca/products/premiere-elements.html The Camcorder is a Canon G21 HD recorder. I shot the Kelowna footage in Slow motion. Thanks for coming to our fun fly, we were so pleased how the weather cooperated and everyone had a great time. Thanks for the compliments.

+TripleThreatRC Hi Bob - The Gimbal is Feiyu WG version for the larger GOPRO cameras. They sell a different one for the session. I have the GP mount on the top of the Hangar 9 Twin Otter, just behind the windshield. robojax.com/products.php?pid=89 Thanks,
