“It’s sad, but you have to keep living” is the most unhinged sentence I’ve found 🤣

Since I also know Japanese. I really feel the ending consonants in Korean is just the っ small tsu sound.

I've studied the Korean alphabet so many different ways in so many places... not ONE mentioned that the reason the different consonants sound different sometimes is when they're in a different position in the damn syllable. God, that makes too much sense. I'm so mad right now.

I started learning Norwegian for fun, and so I can understand my father a bit more (strong Norwegian heritage). First thing it had me learn (knowing I'm not even in high school) is 'Beer and wine is good'.

This is why i dont use duolingo anymore. I tried this with my own native language a while back, and it was giving me sentences and words id never heard before or that you would never really say. Figured it was the same with other languages. Switched to memrise and within an hour on the app i could navigate seoul on my own, including small talk with locals. Never going back to duolingo

I’m 13 and squid game has a age rating of 16+ and I’ve been traumatised before by letting curiosity getting the best of me and now I respect any age rating, and when people say not to do something I won’t do it. So I have 3 years until I can watch squid game and KZbin has shown me how annoying Korean to English dubbing is so I wanna learn Korean in those 3 years I’m waiting to watch squid game

I literally started learning korean last night cuz it just popped in my mind and I just started it. Now I'm out of hearts because I mixed "geo" and "go" up. I was supposed to pick right characters to "go" ald I picked it wrong. Three times in a row.

another good thing to mention is the aspiration patterns. double consonants usually indicate aspiration, but in korean they seem to signify unaspirated consonants
