I wanted to ask. Is it scripted which elemental attacks he will use? Cus I doubt you got lucky enough to predict all of them with dampers.

Yeah he'll use the element of the first summon he put on the field that's alive. You see towards the end he summons Baihu but still uses Mazandyne because Qi Long was summoned before it and was still alive.

@@LordWallace Thanks for clearing this up for me. Now I need to collect some mara and use some gospels to get to lv 43 and fuse all the personas and try the fight out. Though now that I think about it the reward is him letting you fusion summon him which will most prob be locked till I get to his lv.

@Dragindoor it's probably possible earlier than 43 that's just what I happened to be at. But I'd be very hesitant to try without Idun who's at level 42. The exp and especially money rewards are really nice and don't forget you also get Huang Long's essence which gives you super early access to Luster Candy. Better than Huang as a demon himself he kinda sucks.

@LordWallace Does he suck in every game? I couldn't wait to unlock him in persona 5 and never really used it afterwards......... As for the exp and money rewards yeah. U will pretty much go neutral in money after all the fusing but the exp will make the next few arcs a joke xD.

Using Luminescent Mirage is kind of a cheese strat on its own as it effectively disables Megido Ark… though it’s pretty much a must-have if you want to make the battle less RNG-dependent. Beat Satan twice, first to damage-check using the PB + IG + Charge cheese strat. Added in Yoshitsune for turn manipulation lol. Second time, still used PB but didn’t abuse IG. Focused mainly on high single-hit attacks using Zeus (who is a crit God btw and is insanely spammable for 3 demon rotations) and Inanna.

people say using luminescent mirage is cheesing because it "exploit his ai" i disagree, i never saw Satan use megidolaon on "regular" strat, that mean he specifically use it to waste your dodge so he can't miss megido ark anyways, great fight

@Sombrelame I am curious if I can do it without mirage in a future run and still not use strategize/baal/yoshitsune/arahabaki/withdraw all demons otk strats. Its just that it'd be kind of a crap shoot in terms of Satan not targeting mc too many times and being able to finish the fight before you exhaust all your demons of which you'll need a lot.

@@krantz7088 i did some tests and -full buff/debuff with kannabi veil , ark "only" do 500/600 damage, -chaotic will halve his turns so unless his physical demons get a crit, satan won't replay. -and there is Bowl of Hygieia allow to get a hp burst to tank even more so i think it's doable with more tests but i played too much of vengeance, i need a break XD but i'll try to give it more thoughts when i come back to the game

I personally found it to have horrendous balancing and bounced off of it because of that. And I got through Rejuvenation's late game so that's really saying something.

It's such a trip seeing this after playing through most of the main game so far. Even just up to Kiki, it feels completely different. Them completely reworking the starting chapters kinda makes the original stuff feel off, now.

I got as far as beating the 4th gym and even with passwords and everything and yet I got halted by a tough fighting type trainer... Honestly... my one friend who was playing and acting as a sort of rival with me gave up on the gave by the 5th gym. and he didn't even use any passwords until he realized he could use them, and even then, he was too stubborn to even go down a bit and use the litemode cheat code. Honestly... the fact that the games difficulty was insane, is something else, and honestly don't regret even abandoning this game. We both abandoned our games and he even deleted his own save and the game file in it's entirety. Damn... and this is the second Pokemon Rom hack that had a frustrating difficulty that I was recommended by some people I know... and they also recommended Pokemon Clover... and that game for me is far worse than Reborn. At least Reborn has Passwords which can help make the game harder or easier. depending on how you want to go about it. Edit: If you are a casual pokemon fan... do not Play/try out Reborn. It's not for a casual fan. If you want a challenge, there are probably other pokemon rom hacks with a fair difficulty, in level with the mainline games. Reborn and Rejuvination are games for those who want a challenge, or are into competitive pokemon. I'd say with anything that Reborn is a game I'd recommend for only those who really know the game and want a true challenge.

I come from the future and i am playing the allgen mod that gives gen 8-9 pokemon. You can still switch the difficulty and main enemy teams. I experienced both vanilla game and allgen mod gym teams and both are very hard. Several tries are needed and you don't get that many options at the start. Also I'm basically on super challenge mode because i chose Meganium lool

Now that the game is finished you can actualy get a Bastiodon before the garchomp fight, Metal Burst coupled with study is so good, in fact Metal Burst, Mirror Coat and Counter are just flat out good moves to get rid of problematic pokemons you don't really have good answer for, which actualy makes Avalug kinda decent since it can get mirror coat and has sturdy. I personaly also used Focus Sash mirror coat vaniluxe a few times. Perish song and destiny bond can also come in clutch.

Greetings from the future, this video helped me understand what makes the two communities so different much better than anywhere else. Since then I think both communities have flourished in their own ways, but as a mainly outsider it's a bit sad to see just how polarized the two formats are. Because smogon is all hyper optimized, team composition, online play with plethoras of incredible information, it will likely always stay a community ran online endeavor pushing against the grain of no dev support or dev consideration for balance changes. It seems to me that 6v6 on cartridge in person is just way too much of an investment for anybody to care. VGC is the exact opposite, with less optimization, resources, and accessibility, but it is an exciting format on cartridge with dev support and funding with events literally around the globe. Honestly wondering why that is.
