This new oil filter is an engineering failures, big time, it makes oil change a night mare and biggest mess of oil spillage no matter how careful I do, I saw toyota changed back to old-way on new 2024/25 Tundra on youtube, not sure if they do it for all other of theirs. About my 2015 SE manual, I cannot find the way to set oil change minder to set to the amount of millage I want, I can do it on my 2015 Tundra, with full synthetic, I can set it to every 5k miles, with this Camry reset, can't do and can't tell neither, if every 3k miles then a waste of about 30% worth of oil cycle.

I have the 1999 Quest and everything was almost ok the one in the middle would not work the socket would not go on the wire did no problem but not the socket as I turned I heard a crack and the top of the plug broke. What is so different about this one? I tried to get a socket on there again to remove what's left and it won't work! Any Ideas before I have to take this apart.

LOL....yeah...I found you lookin for "How to remove 2004 NIssan sentra Relay/Fuse Box....because of this exact same issue. I can't get my darn radiator out because of that Relay Box and can't figure how to Remove it without breaking something.....FRUSTRATING! Anyone got any ideas on how to remove that Relay box?

Thank you! This was my problem . Brake light on dash , a/c blowing hot, power doors wouldn’t lock electrical. No key chime. I ordered the part online from local Honda dealer , took less than a hour to swap. This fixed everything ! Thank you

This is a great way to drain your battery. Those fuse locations have constant power, light will remain on even if vehicle is turned off.

take a look at the thread length on your old plugs versus the new one!!! please tell me you didnt put those new ones in the engine - that they were for demo purposes only ... and yes, the NGK or Denso plugs should be used - if they go 60-100K miles they are worth their price

Did you even notice that there's a 3/8" piece right on the filter housing? You don't even need the removal tool, just a 3/8" extension. You can see it clearly at 3:34. Also put your o ring on before you put the filter in 🤦

Question: at about 5:00 into the video, when you removed the transmission fluid hose at the bottom, how much transmission fluid did you lose? Is there still transmission fluid in the radiator? Did you have to add transmission fluid back after the job was completed due to fluid loss? If so, how much? Thank you for your help!

Hard to endure this video. The lack of cleanliness is just insane! The grime and contaminants from the ground applied to the surfaces are hair-raising knowing what you're introducing to the outstanding quality of the Toyota and it's VERY fine internal tolerances. Yes, the filter was incorrect and it begs the question, why would you NOT use the Toyota brand filter when it's probably less expensive than the crappy one you used which is incorrect and why didn't you bother to clean that oil filter housing? I'm guessing that funnel was also grimy. Appreciate that you took the time to make the video, but man, this is more a tutorial about how NOT to do an oil change on these amazing cars if you really want yours to last. Yikes!

Also... should change inline transmission filter after 3rd fluid change.

Honda states that engine should be at operating temp. with engine NOT running to check level if transmission fluid.

The filter element you removed does not look like the one you installed.

Why does the shifter area from this one look way different?? Are you sure this isnt like a 1999 ? Or is this the GLE 2002 ?

Hey @RodeoCowboy I have an 06 1.8l I drained and fill but I wanted to ask since you had ur Sentra longer how is the shifting for you? Is it a little hard sometimes from 1st to 2nd ? Idk if it’s my mounts or transmission but sometimes it shifts hard sometimes it shifts perfectly smooth I have about 102k miles

Thank you so much! I had no working door locks, no key fob working, no dome light when door was open, no chime when key in ignition, no cold a/c, brake light on, and your video was spot on the issue! I DID go to a junk yard and got the part. 1 hour to take off salvaged car, 2 hours to put on my car. But as soon as I turned on the key, I heard chimes and my brake light went off. Locks started working and dome light came on. Key fob works too now. Great video, thanks again! David
