HONEY OHIO PLAYERS MERCURY RECORDS From the LP:HONEY DIRECTOR:MARC DANIELS PRODUCER:CHRIS GIFFORD SONGWRITERS:NORTON/DANIEL Survey song number 94 was the Ohio Players with the titled cut off of the LP of the same name. I'm DJ Richard Brown counting them down & the countdown doesn't stop until we get to the top. Here's a letter from Patty Mayonnaise played by Constance Shulman. Dear Richard Brown!Make no mistake cause everything else was named after the Bluffs. Bluffington Mall,Bluff School,Bluffco Industries & infact the whole town.Beebe Bluff was trying to concentrate on her credit card when suddenly her credit card got shredded to pieces & then she was trying to concentrate on the circus with Skeeter Valentine as the DJ just like you & suddenly her parents told her to cancel the circus while the mansion was sold instead of being Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous, she's now Lifestyles of the Broke & Busted in the Doug Funnie episode titled Beebe Bluff Goes Broke.Story by Ray DaSilva Teleplay by Jim Jinkins,Jack Spillum,Curtis Crawford & Tony Eastman. Richard Brown could you please play I'm Busted by John Conlee cause she lost all of her money, her credit card got shredded & her circus got cancelled by her parents. Thanks Patty Mayonnaise. Patty Mayonnaise Here's your request & your dedication.

The Ohio Players are the baddest. All those self contained funk/r&b groups that had success after them have to bow in their presence, they created the prototype with that extra sauce.

Bootsy Collins never made a secret that he admired the Ohio Players. Definitely can see the influence Sugarfoot had on Bootsy's showmanship. 💯

In 1975, you had to have real talent. You had to know how to sing. Not talk!(Rap) You had to know how to play instruments live. So-called stars today are just manufactured illusion. I'm glad I know what real music and talent is.😐

Sugarfoot is the master of tones. He also had a W.C. Fields and Al Jolson vocal.
