This wonderful man saved my life. He put a new valve in my chest and I got a graft for an aorta. I was getting to the point to where walking was getting hard as my bicuspid valve was closing up on me. And my ascending aorta was wrecked to where it had to be removed and replaced. It takes a special man who can open a man's worn and broken heart and fix it. Keck USC is full of nothing but professionals. I was treated extremely well when I was there. I admit I was so scared. But when I spoke to Dr. Starnes he said everything with 100 % confidence. The surgeon in the town I live in wouldn't touch me. So I was sent to go see the master of heart surgeries. Thank you Dr. Starnes. It feels good having a heart that works again. I can do more now that I could last year.
