Customize their game day experience to be similar to the college traditions in the area/region so that it’s an easy transition for those fans to become UFL fans. Go international with a team in Mexico and Canada to help establish a unique identity to the NFL. Have a street team at bowl games and collegiate games during the year at the local schools. Utilize the Rock’s background in live entertainment to put on a more entertaining product (outside of football) such as a halftime show during the championship game. Establish a partnership with the makers of Retro Bowl with a UFL-specific game app to help reach a younger demographic. And play in smaller stadiums.

NFL fans will never support the league. But you are right about College and it Baffles me they chose cities that are not College Towns. Having teams in Houston, Michigan, Arlington, DC make Zero Sense. Heck even Memphis and San Antonio makes no sense. IMO, they should have done this West Salt Lake City (#33 TV Market, BYU and Utah) San Diego (#28 TV Market, former NFL city with SDSU) Oklahoma City (#45 TV Market, OU and Oklahoma State) Fresno (#55 TV Market, Fresno State) East Birmingham St. Louis Louisville (#50 TV market, Louisville and the only pro team in Kentucky) Norfolk (#43 TV Market, Virginia, Virginia Tech, ODU) They could have built a good fanbase that actually attends game while still having good TV markets.

@@Awesomenessj7756 Not enough Money. Also burnout. Diehard fans of NFL team are never going to replicate it for UFL teams, also with Free Agency and the Draft going up against the UFL season its just sets up Burnout on Football. College fans only have the Spring Game. I also think the UFL made a mistake just relying on the TV contract. They NEED a Local fanbase for each team to survive long term. If the Fresno team had players from Fresno State, more interest. Or better yet Salt Lake or Oklahoma which have Split fanbases in the 2 College teams could come together and watch former players once rivals now teammates. A City like Norfolk could also attract fans from Maryland. I truly believe there are players that cannot play in the NFL but can play Entertaining and Good Football, so having college fans watching players they have watched for a few years would have been the way to go to grow the league into a Long Term Sustainable League.

@@NostalgicSports48 hmmm…this may be a bit weird, but maybe Oakland? Raiders fans were heartbroken when they moved to Vegas, maybe a team there could fill the void. Other ones could possibly be Austin, Salt Lake City, Portland would be great. The UFL needs to recreate the St Louis atmosphere, and I personally don’t think that can happen if they move to cities that already have nfl teams. It’s time for the ufl to get creative!

In SC I would suggest Myrtle Beach instead. After a recent renovation/expansion, Brooks Stadium at Coastal Carolina University now has a capacity of 21,000 people. Which is a perfect size for this league. You have a pretty affluent retirement population many from NY and Ohio that are rabid football fans. Also you have a great spring golf tourism industry that would give those guys something else to do while there. And it’s still an easy drive up from Charleston.
