020 when the model is level, the main lg should be directly below the wing leading edge.

The Turbo Timber has the landing gear there. That airplane is susceptible to catch the grass then the propeller goes into the ground. If the gear is way forward that protects the propeller, in the same time at landing would do this back and forth bouncing. To avoid that this airplane has a very short nose. I am showing landing several times one of them in 4:29 No bouncing and not tipping over breaking the propeller.

Ta książka jest bardzo bliska mojemu sercu. Rodzice kupili mi go, gdy miałem 12 lat. Książka miała cztery samoloty. Zbudowałem pierwsze trzy, ale miałem problem z czwartym, silnik zawsze się zatrzymywał. Byłem tak sfrustrowany, że nigdy nie ukończyłem tego samolotu. Ale to zawsze było w mojej głowie. Po dokładnie 50 latach zbudowałem ten samolot.

Jedyne co Ci zazdroszczę, to pszestrzeni, do oblatywania modelu, ale dowiedziałem się , że jest w pobliżu mojego miejsca zamieszkania Pilot z samolotem do opryskiwania pól. Pogadam z nim , ewentualnie "wynajmę" jego lądowisko na około godziny do zabawy z moimi modelami. Nawet ko0sztem zapłaty (jeśli to możliwe?)

I saw the movie Mackenna's Gold around 1970, that movie starts with scenes of Monument Valley. Went to watch the movie next day again just to see that scene. That put it on my list too.

Nice vid, thanks! I used to live 3 blocks from Sharon Heights, which used to be called The Sharon Estate. No streets or houses on the property, except for the old abandoned Sharon mansion. As a kid, I used to go up there all the time and ride my bike through the hills and fields, and we used to take big pieces of cardboard and sit on them and slide down the hills on the dry grass. Look at it now, gone forever.

I know exactly how do you feel, I had a similar experience. When I was a kid we also wrote bicycle flying kite and playing with balls in a field. Now it is a shopping center. When I visited couple of years ago. I wanted to say, people you are eating prosciutto-avocado sandwich, gelato ice cream, this place used to be a potato field. I used to play here. 🙂
