I feel like it's rather telling that FCJ couldn't be bothered to wipe down his camera before recording the video

These kinds of people keep complaining about mainstream cinema, meanwhile we're all out here feasting like kings with a lot of the movies being produced lately. Every generation has their fair share of absolute stinkers, but the likes of Sonic 3 will probably be loved for decades to come. And I say that as someone who personally isn't even remotely a fan of the Sonic franchise.

"Animation is for kids" to "animation and live-action are for kids". Over the past 2 years, animation was being crapped on by the Oscars. But now, it's not alone. Because live-action is being treated the same way now, even at the Oscars. They crapped on Sonic 3, so that proves that live-action doesn't deserve to be disrespected. Animation was treated like shit, now any movie is.

Actually tone wise Iron Giant is quite similar to Sonic 3, which makes his comparison even more frustratingly tone deaf. Both Shadow and the Iron Giant feared being seen as a monster and are pushed into that role by grief and persecution, both movies also go from bleak moments to goofy on a dime because you have to keep the kiddies attention. I think Matt doesn’t get it because he hasn’t suffered through “baldy McNosehairs” level writing.

I can't think of one movie in the past 20 years that had a villain who was going to use a lazer on the world. Thanos didn't want to do that, all the Disney, and DreamWorks villains didn't want to do that. This guy knows nothing about pop culture. It reminds me of when Hank Hill ignorantly thought Weird Al d*ied in the 80s. I'd rather watch Sonic 3, then that Bluey knockoff Walsh made.

First of all f$&k him for calling sonic 3 a baby movie, second he clearly wasn’t paying enough attention to realize how much fun Jim Carrey had with this film. Before the movie came out he said he would only return if the script was so good it was written in gold, that is this movie. I actually saw this guys review pop up before I ever saw the Matt Walsh one. So thanks for pointing it out because it genuinely in raged me. I hate these straight up haters that are talking bad and giving out straight up false information about this movie, and the fact that they did as little research as possible and not even have the common decency to watch the other 2. Seasons before posting garbage takes and straight up untrue statements. As a person who feels genuinely terrible anytime I present false evidence unintentionally this sickens me, I’m also a sonic fan so there’s another reason.

This review is definitely not worse than Matt Walsh. At least this guy gave some actual valid thoughts on the movie. Matt Walsh was not even paying attention to the film. He definitely did a lot more damage to the reputation of Sonic 3 than First Class Junk. This video was obviously a rage bait.

When he called sonic 3 "cancelled", I actually laughed out loud. I was both amused and frustrated by this review.

Its one thing to hate on a lot of movies that are straight up fantastic with dumb reasons but to try to force an opinion on another person who has passionate feelings about said movie is not only condescending or childish but straight up evil. People like that get underneath my skin so much. Saying "do not watch this movie" will only make me watch it again. And people saying that sonic 3 is a bad movie will only make me appreciate it even more. This guy and Matt Walsh are pathetic.

I'm noticing a pattern with the terrible Sonic Movie 3 reviews. They go into the theater already deciding the movie is bad before they enter, and they know very little about Sonic Adventure 2 and/or Shadow's character.

I think explaining how bad the other movie goers were in the theater is important, if those people had tainted their enjoyment of the movie. That being said, those types of things should be mentioned at the beginning of the video as a sort of "here are my biases and other factors outside of the movie itself that might have tainted my enjoyment of the movie" segment and not a few minutes into the video after they had already stated their general opinion.

You would think that a good father who loves his kids would A) not feel like going to a movie. Even a bad movie with them would be enjoyable just for the fact that you're spending time with your family B) that you would understand the feeling of there not being any point in life if your child or grandchild was murdered.
