Bro, Today dell technician changed my laptop display screen. But the brightness is not as before. Brightness is less in this. Is it common or the screen is fake?

Dude--you're amazing. thanks for taking the time to show this. I've never attempted to fix anything like this, but you made it simple. Broke my screen on Thursday, ordered from where you suggested, got it by Tuesday and installed the new one in 20 min. Saved me at least $200! thanks!

THANKS !!! just did my HP 17-BY4633DX with FHD screen from laptopscreenDotCom, ($105), scariest part was peeling the tape off the tiny connector without damaging it. Your instructions are spot-on.

The screens in these black ones are not so great, 70% srgb. Have you ever replaced them by a better one, maybe from a hp 470? They have 100% srgb. Dont know if that is at all possible...

Always drain the fluid first before working on the pump. Use a turkey baster to suck it out of the reservoir and get rid of it. Then replace it with new when finished replacing the pump.

Great video!!!! The only issue that I ran into was getting the pulley off. That was by far the hardest part. After some WD-40 and a torch to heat it up a bit, I was finally able to get it broken loose.

I get to do the repair this weekend. 198K miles. First time was under warranty 100K ago. QUESTION: Is this a good time to swap out the serpentine belt also? I didn't look too closely at the front of the engine to see clearances. But looks like it would be generally easy if you have a reason to already be in there. I believe our belt was changed out around 130K for a major maintenance...but I'm not going to dig through the docs to check on accuracy.. EDIT to answer my question: Yes, this is a good time to replace the serpentine belt too. Also, my pump was going out but I started with the $200 Honda high pressure line since that was obviously the major source of my leak. Pump kept whining after I had it together, so I went ahead and replaced it to. But, the air cleaner breather boot, split, so that was a third trip to Honda...a different one that had it on hand.
