But how do you fit it on the fitted wind out awning side? That'd be helpful to see.

The Video showed more detail about how to install roof insulation - external, cali-topper roof cover. however, the video was narrated in Mandarin, you have to turn on the Closed Caption in English or another language. kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5i3ipWQhJtkmsk

That is very nice indeed and I would definitely buy one; EXCEPT - you have missed some quite important things that would be quite easy to correct. 1. The front and sides are not connected in any way. The moment the wind blows even a little you will have a kite. The fix is simple though, just add a zip at each front corner so that the sides and front zip together - easy. 2. You have no storm flaps at the bottom. As soon as it rains all the water coming off the top and sides will run down and straight back in to your camping area. Just sew on some storm flaps that fan out at the bottom with a hole in for each peg to go though in front of the each loop. 3. The sides are in no way attached to the van, giving another rain and wind entry point. A small amount of padding at the van edge and some appropriately positioned elastic straps with rubber hooks can be attached to wheels, cycle carrier, wiper stems, mirror - just about anywhere. Make them detachable and if people don't want to use them for fear of damaging their van then they don't have to. These three things will make a first class solution for people sheltering from either good or bad weather. I look forward to buying your version 2 offering :-)

Yeah this was the Mk version -our current awning kit has come a long way since this video was shot - I will try and get a new one up loaded soon! we had two of these set up on the Whitby cliffs in story weather with additional awning tie down kits and they stood up well to the weather - lots of interest from fellow Fiamma awning owners too!
