2:05 love the glove, makes me all warm and fuzzy ;) I've had high WBC count for nearly 10 years. They are through the roof as my last doc put it. Why wont they take me serious in NSW Australia. Im so weak and thin, i'm down to 47kg now and dropping. Im really sick and they wont do a bone marrow Biopsy. WTF. I really need help, but im on the public system as a pensioner Please tell me. I told the specialist i want chemo while im strong. That was 2 years ago when i could still go to the Gym. Now i sleep 2 days out of 4 and cant put on any weight despit high cal and proteine powders etc. The pain is killing me, non stop bone aches for 2 years plus now. Thanks for your time and videos.

I have MDS and so far have refused to do this. It is progressing slowly and see no need at this point. Not sure I will ever do it as it is NOT average pain. It is horrific if you ask anyone who has had one
@mikedoucet51508 ай бұрын
I had it done a week ago. I was very anxious after reading comments on You Tube. Surprisingly, the procedure was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I had a local anesthetic and I only felt pressure while the doctor was inserting the needle in the bone. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes, no need for pain meds and was back to my regular activities in less than 48 hours. If you need to get this done, do it as it could save your life.

Does cold cause hives? I used to break out during colder seasons.
@TheNetworkNurse4 ай бұрын
Yes, cold can cause hives in some people. This condition is known as **cold urticaria**. It is a type of physical urticaria where exposure to cold temperatures triggers the release of histamine and other chemicals from skin cells, leading to the development of itchy, red welts or hives. These hives can appear after direct contact with cold objects, cold air, or cold water. In some cases, symptoms can also occur when the body warms up after being cold. Cold urticaria can vary in severity, with some people experiencing mild symptoms and others potentially having more serious reactions.

Nursing is full of generations of unprofessional, dramatic people. Its going to take a miracle to bring the profession up to the new standard of professional governance. Because the lack of professionalism has prevailed for so long, we are losing nurses!

Remember the phrase Garbage in - Garbage out? That's exactly what happens in the human body. What we put into the body determines will surely reflect physically. Very few things are as important as healthy eating...a herculean task in today's world.
