I trust this man with my life. We watched this video in our Toyota tech training class and enjoyed it far more than the official Hunter video 🤣

You still should use a rotor mic or micrometer and a dial gage indicator to check afterwards. Hunter is a good machine. Best to use this on car method. Very expensive though. I’ll just buy new rotors. My dealership charges $275 per wheel! Crazy.

kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYnFYXalac2gY5I This is my first time working on or even looking inside of any transmission of any kind. It was a real learning experience. I would recommend watching this video before deciding whether you want to bite off a project like this or not. Eaton Fuller Roadranger RT6613 Manual Transmission Rebuild 13 Speed.

Best tutorial for this type of machine I've seen. I would imagine it's not a great idea to lean against the drum when the machine is on. 5:45

Ours acts up a lot and the adjustment will face down or sideways between the head. Usually the machine won't center with the two green leds if it happens. What do you have to do in that situation? Do you turn it off, point the adjustment screw straight up then calibrate the machine again? Does it a frequently...

Was this drum not centered?..out of round? warped? At 5:57 it appears to be one of these but I've never cut drums so I'm just asking.

We have one of these in the shop I work at. The fact that if you're turning one rotor you can't move to the other side and break it down while you're resurfacing makes this much slower than using a bench lathe when you're working on front brakes on a FWD or rear brakes on a RWD. I also don't like how the lathe will rock around. I just don't feel comfortable with a metal cutting lathe moving around while it's cutting. The only time this is worth it is with rotor-hub assemblies.
