Uhtred & Brida we’re bonded forever. You do not get that much anger and resentment towards someone unless you love them very very deeply and when all that passion for Uhtred turned to anger, Brida allowed it to consume her. All of your edits for The Last Kingdom are amazing!

GOD THIS WAS GORGEOUS!!!! first of all you made the colouring look so good, the show and the film are a nightmare when you edit the colouring SO LOTS OF KUDOS ON THAT!!! second, i loved the way you showed ingilmundr's manipulation and aethelstan's heartbreak when he understood both that and everything he did. they were so interesting and you made them even more so

Ahhh thanks for the lovely comment. I’m glad you liked it. I found Ingilmundr’s manipulation really interesting and thought he was a much more compelling ‘villain’ than the likes of Aethelhelm. I’m so glad that you appreciated the colouring, it took a while so I’m glad it was worth it! 💜

This video is truly touching. The music is perfect! Finan is an important character. He is Uhtred's best friend and he is a faithful friend. He will always remain at Uhtred's side even in Bernard Cornwell's books. In "War Lord", the last book, they are both very old and live in Bebbanburg.

Brida was a complicated character. She was crazy, bad and at the same time also lonely and unfortunate. Ragnar's death marked her inexorable end. She destroyed everything, including herself and her daughter.

I think Brida’s story is very tragic. I wasn’t very sympathetic towards her on my first watch, but I have since seen how heartbreaking her story is. She went mad with anger in later seasons and I agree it destroyed her, but only because of what she had been through. Thank you for taking the time to comment 💜
