Yeah, that's it! That was the version of Girl from Ipanema i was looking for! The classic elevator music style you hear in dozens of movies! And what a great, fast-paced performance! You can feel the enthusiasm he had to play this song. Bravo Mike Reed!!!😃

Back in the day, when he offered no intro, just sat and worked his magic. Thank you, Josh, for keeping his music & energy alive. It's needed, as evidenced by his growing fan base.

Love it, seems a bit fast though. Makes me think about 'The Harlem Globetrotters'. A few us got together in grade school gym class and learned how to do the classic 'Globetrotter Circle'. We were a hit!

YES, we miss him, BADLY. In my opinion there are only three types of organists: 1) organists, (yawn)... 2) Pipe organists, and 3) Hammond organ players! (Not Hammond organists. "[ ]-ists" play accurately only from music. "players" play from memory w/style and their heart.) Just as "it takes a special breed to be a truck drivin' man", it takes a special breed of Organ player to know HOW to HANDLE a HAMMOND like he did!! My question: Did he ever take a few students under his wing during his lifetime to TEACH and pass on these skills he shows in every one of his videos to this level of ART (yes, an ART) of Hammond organ playing? Happy New Year, Mike!
