Nice to hear you’re so surprised by this machine while testing. This spring I bought my first bike: ‘99 Legend TT. Love to hear en see good things about this typical motorcycle. Mine was in a state of hibernation last couple of years, but this summer I brought it back to life !

Great review. I have picked up a different model but looking forward to better features than the really basic one I've been using. Was wondering why I've not seen your videos recently. And there are none. Hope you're still riding.

Watching this from Atlanta, GA, USA. Found your channel because I’m about to buy a 2013 America and was looking for more info on them. I think your videos have convinced me this is my next bike! Awesome stuff, that road was insane! Thanks for the fantastic videos!

I just took my 1997 Thunderbird out of storage sitting for 13 years. In the process of cleaning up the entire bike and doing full maintenance / tune-up. It was running perfect when I put it away. Sadly, parts of looks more corroded/pitted than I would have thought being in a storage unit. Should have used better covers and anti corrosion spray it. Hoping the visible mice activity was only on the top cover blanket and not in the wiring. Only known issue is broken seat lock that came with the used purchase. Cannot get it to release the seat, so trying to MacGyver a solution.

Very nice review! What would you say about the size and weight? I'm currently just before taking my drivers practical exam and my friend mentioned that the America could be too big for me as a beginner driver. Just sitting on the America felt great, I'm just a little over 1,80cm tall and around 95kg.

Hi from Birmingham, UK. Really detailed review. You convinced me that the America is the way to go so now have a 2007 version but only 6000 miles . It has ape hangers and I've fitted a screen as the wind blast was more than I wanted. It's a lovely machine with a great look and heritage - what's not to lke.

I have a 2001 Thunderbird 900. I put 16000 miles on it last year. Didn’t miss a beat. Been running it on E10 for the past 4 months and the carbs are clogging up. E5 only for me from now on.

These are fun bikes . I’ve had 3 of these triples. They don’t have a center stand and have tube type radial tires. So roadside repair is not good

i have had my roadster 2015 white stripe and sure the suspension isn't great; the Road King better on long trips. But performance and fun the RIII all day its not even close. The roadster looks slightly different the Touring is better for trips but isn't as peppy and the roadster. the harley looks and sounds cooler but you are goign to pay more to maintain
