Some consider the 1991-1992 Bulls (the second title team that won 67 games) to be the best Bulls team in the MJ era, and not this 72-10 team nor next years 69-13 team

Grant might have made it more competitive but he wouldn’t have won this game for them. He averaged about 11 points per game, above average defender. Serviceable but not special.

You didn't say that when they beat the Bulls the previous year, so stop it with the excuses. Aside from Jordan, that Orlando team was actually better than the Bulls. That is why when Jordan didn't play well, the Bulls lost.

That Bulls introduction is iconic. Really got you hype when those lights went out and that music came on. Hadn't experienced anything like that in the N.B.A. since Jordan and then Bulls.

Once Bulls got Rodman it was over, had they had a decent power foward in 95 playoffs they wouldve beat Orlando and Houston but by the time Jordan returned it was too late to make a trade.

Actually Horace Grant injured himself in the first game, otherwise it would be hard to say who can win that series
@danielpartida45637 ай бұрын
I don't know. To me, it just seems like that injury in Game 1 was awfully convenient for Horace considering the circumstances. Horace, more than anybody, knew that MJ and Pippen were going to come back with axes to grind in 96 after losing the year before. On top of that, having to face Dennis Rodman in the post probably gave him PTSD flashbacks of the Bad Boy Pistons. Somehow, I don't think he was prepared to deal with all of that so he used that "injury" in Game 1 as an excuse to bow out early in the series leaving Shaq all by himself in the post.
