Where can I listen to the music from the opening cutscene that includes the classic _Halo_ theme? As far as I can tell, it was never released.

Definitely my favourite level in the game! The ending section is very exhilarating but stressful as I’m one to try and save as many of the marines as possible, miraculously my best is 8 on Normal, and a whopping 6 on legendary. The section where the flood ambush you, try and focus behind u as the marines will push forward. The infection forms are top priority as they can sneak up on the marines. Practice is key to saving the marines! Still fun tho! You can also save the 3 marines in that room after the elevator if you don’t enter the room, just pick off as much as u can from outside the doorway, then quickly enter the room and clean up what’s left and u can save all 3 marines.

As a kid I hated this level. Now as an adult I love it! So much panic as you're swarmed you completely understand the soldier going mad and thinking everyone is hostile. I couldn't imagine seeing your fellow buddies fall only to become one of the enemies not even 5 seconds after he falls. All while hearing them scream while being completely changed by the parasite.

- - Alternate scene - - If Connor killed the guards before squaring up to William Johnson, he should question the latter as to why he sought to purchase the lands. "So, what exactly is your purpose? Why are you trying to purchase the lands of my people?" He advanced on Johnson purposefully. He retreated backwards, trying to still his suspicion. "You don't understand," he insisted, "I need to purchase th --" "Those lands." Words he'd heard before. "Truly you must think I'm a fool!" "You are right to be cautious," he went on, "but fight as bravely as you may, you cannot hope to keep your people safe! The colonists will spread - they will kill, pillage, loot, enslave... your people... Do you think good King George lies awake at night hoping that no harm comes to his native subjects? Or that the people of the city care one whit about them? Oh, sure, the colonists are happy to trade when they need food or shelter or a bit of extra padding for their armies. But when the walls of the city constrict - when there's crops that need soil - when there's... when there's no more enemy to fight - we'll see how kind the people are then." "The Iroquois have no quarrel with them." "Not yet. But they will. 'Tis the way of the world. In time, they'll turn. I... I could have stopped it. I could have saved you all..." "You speak of salvation, but you were killing them." "Aye. Because they would not listen! And so, it seems, neither will you." "You heard him. You were killing our brothers." a village elder agreed. "Be silent!" Connor snapped. "Is this how you address me, your chief?" "You were as stubborn. You should at least listened to him." "And what? He'll buy our lands and then spirits of our ancestors will lose face." another Native chided. "He will buy the lands to keep us safe." "Keep us safe? Are you mad? Or are you a spy for Johnson?" "Be still! If he killed any of you, it's because you. If you can't handle it, none of your brothers can handle it. Your arrogance and your hostility towards Johnson..." "What are you? How do you know of this deceiver? Tell us the truth!" the village elder demanded. "The truth? The truth is that I overheard a conversation in Boston about Johnson and his intentions. I even heard George Washington was the one who burned down our village. "Washington did this? Absurd!" the village chief was in disbelief. "What's absurd? That I'm saying Washington razed our village? You're not listening to reason?" Connor prompted. "Will you stop confusing me? You're not listening to us. Johnson poisoned you with his soft words to turn you against us. Washington and the patriots promised us that we will all be free of the templars and the British capitalists." "If Johnson is being truthful, then I don't see any harm in that." Johnson gave a smile of relief. The villagers looked unimpressed, safe for a few. Connor continued. "Why not see this through? If Johnson buys our lands as means of our safety, then you can do whatever you want? What will it be? The colonists remove you from your lands and face slavery? Or would you rather be under Johnson's custody?" "You are a traitor to our people." "Brother, stop!" the second Native urged. "Stop what? He's a traitor and a turncoat for joining the templars." "You're not yourself." "Are you siding with that traitor?" "I'm not a traitor. I..." "Peace, my brothers..." Johnson called again. "You are not our brothers. You did not give us weapons to defend ourselves." the village chief spat. "If I did, then there will be division between you." Johnson explained. "I'm giving you one last chance, traitor! Join us like the tribe we were and take down the one trying to purchase our lands and perhaps you will earn our trust and I'll even make you succeed me as chief!" "When a worm slithers from a rock-filled hole, it will face with two dangers. One side will be flood. The other will be fires burning the forest." Connor mused. "Then, you are against us along with the pale-faced deceiver." The village chief became utterly bitter. Suddenly, violence between the Natives started to spark. Those loyal to Connor and Johnson and dissenters in service of the village chief acted as separatists. With a roar of defiance the people under Connor's leadership charged, hurling spears and firing arrows as they ran to join in hand-to-hand combat. The separatists reeled under the force of the charge. A spear was thrust, a Native swept off his feet. The opposition's tomahawk came down but was blocked in a valiant clash of steel. One burly Native lumbered through the tide and was clubbed aside by Connor in a solid blow, head smashed. Swords slashed and dissenters were bludgeoned to the ground. Arrows flashed and stunned first one then another. In the thick of it, Connor kept up rapid fire. Connor faced with the village chief and "Chief, stand down!" "Then you are my enemy!" Connor was forced to defend himself against the chief's furious assault. Fueled by desperation, both combatants fought with all of their strength. However, Connor managed to get an advantage and he knocked the chief to the ground. Angered by this defeat, the chief struggled to his feet. Remorse etched on Johnson's face. In his final act, the chief got to his feet and rush toward Johnson. "Brother! Ratonhnhaké:ton, what are you doing?!" called the second Native. "This ends now!" In his distress, Connor quickly pulled Johnson out of the line of attack. The chief suddenly slipped and fell off the cliff. The chief looked upwards at those watching from their elevated position and shouted in a frenzied state. "Come on! I will protect our village. Hey, brothers, I need help here! Ratonhnhaké:ton, you're a traitor to our people. You have no idea that this templar will deceive you all. Once he purchases the lands, there will be repression against us and will turn us into his puppets. Washington and I agreed that our freedom will be ensured, if... we... rid the lands... of... Johnson..." The chief coughed up blood before his death. "No. Forgive us, chief. This was not meant to happen." Connor, Johnson and the remaining Natives closed their eyes in despondent. "Sorry, Connor!" "Why?" Connor asked curtly. "I know he means a lot to you, but you did what you could to convince him. He was lost to his refusal. Now, about the lands?" Johnson prompted. "Before we go any further, Charles Lee was responsible for the deaths of my mother and my people." "I don't know if he was involved in this, but I watched from afar. What happened in 1758, I witnessed Washington and his army set the village ablaze. Washington participated in an expedition where he ordered his forces to burn down Kanien'kehá:ka villages in an attempt to limit attacks from indigenous tribes. I don't expect you to believe me, you don't have to take my word for it. I just witnessed it. If I buy the lands, I'll see to the safety of your people. You have my word." Johnson promised. "Let's proceed with this! What's to lose?" "You have done well. While this will be in my name, the lands will be yours." Both Connor and Johnson shook hands in concord. Kanen'tó:kon approached the dead body of the chief and gave a look of sorrow and saw the lands were purchased.

What I found great about this mission is that just as you have to start tailing the man, if you look out to sea you can see the British fleet on the horizon, great detail. I remember my first time in this mission and seeing all the ships in the distance and thinking this mission ain't gonna end well

i saw once a very interesting comment but i don't remember in which video about the 343 Guilty spark level i saw it, in theis comment a guy said: "why a futuristic army like the UNSC would use a old-fashionned classical pump-action shotgun while it should be a semi-auto or automatic firing one?" yeah i admit i share the same question so i ask it here. any interesting answer? don't mind my grammar faults please. awaiting an answer, i have however my own suppositions: perhaps because the pump shotguns are less expensive to make (handy during war times) than others with automatical fire, and also more reliable and accurate. plus i learned somewhere that the UNSC shotgun shoots 10 gauge, it's huge as a firepower, imagine shooting such a caliber in semi or auto it would blow out the gun or causing an uncontrolable recoil . so i guess it's way practical in pump action. also it feel satisfying than semi or auto fires, in a game like that. i wonder what do you think so
