I was a poser trail rider on mt bikes, but I was an absolute animal on three wheelers jumping 100 foot gaps back in the 90s. When I happened to meet a guy who had his bike shop in the building with Spooky Cycles I ended up racing DH and sold the trikes. It was the quest for speed and fear suppression from ATV riding that carried me. Find the limit

How 'bout that top section at hardline? LOL Wow is he ripping up there. My question is how did he do it. More pedaling or less braking. Make a video about that!

Great interview. These days I wonder will Ronan be the last of the raw talent's we see getting to world cup DH with the way the sport is going . I think even he admits junior level was hit n miss for him. Nowadays it's almost like you have to be the polished article by second year junior.

Us motocross girl need a Tahnee on our team!!!!
@JC-gi3xp6 ай бұрын
This is such a good podcast, the host's values and Tahnee as a female inspiration that doesn't need to sexualize herself in order to have attention on fame ! Her skills are insane and is really cool to listen to her as well as her thoughts overall in the sport etc. We need more women like her, Casey Brown, Georgia Astle, Marine Cabirou etc that represents what a women actually is and not what the media and machos and other females out there consider them/themselves to be. I'm also glad that there's more and more women in the sport, here where I live at the moment I'm the only one, so sad !! Anyway, 100% agree on only fans sponsorship, again, it's not a conscious thought at all from the guys or the industry. Doesn't bring any good neither fit and has nothing to do with biking ! Wtf ! And ofc if it would be a women being sponsored it would be a hole other story. I wish ppl would get more conscious about their choices and start valuing and respecting women for what they are. That mentality is fucking far behind, needs some fucking progress !

It was a shame that there was no standard procedure after her crash with head impact and she had to suffer for so long and even being all on her own. In soccer they know much better about the issues with concussions, even on long term, that they take much better care in this sport. Hope DH/MTB had learned of her case and nice to see her back and healthy!

Max, you and Glen need to do a 'Ride to Survive' series following some breakthrough riders (Netflix style - but better)
@vlbz Жыл бұрын
If DH needs a face, it has to be Finn. An overall title contender, perfect english (obviously), good at interviews, young, likeable. Aaron and Greg would be great choices as well, I think, but they are more towards the end of their careers.

Gwin has been brilliant on the broadcasts adding the expert knowledge to the team who otherwise know very little about the sport. I would love to see him do more but if we wanted a current rider to be an ambassador, it would have to be Goldstone. He’s a brilliant rider (2nd in the overall in his first season as an elite rider with 2 WC wins) who’s full of energy and not camera shy- his track previews for GoPro are great along with his other work with GoPro following him around the season after his health issues.
