That is the sound that would put me to sleep at my grandparent's house. They live about half a mile from the local railyard. It used to be Wisconsin Central LTD (Former Soo Line and Chicago & North Western shared), then Canadian National. Whenever we would stay over, I'd here the chanting of the 567's of the idling locos, and the switchers throttling up as they switched the trains. Then there was the roar of the 567 in notch 8 as they tackled the 2% grade out of town. Often they'd need a pusher, and some still do! Sadly, I don't hear them much any more.

A Very rare Leslie S3J Horn, but it was stolen in spring 2013 sadly.

Very nice video! I love the 405, too bad she wast turned the other way, but what can you do. Glad he RARE S3J horn still sounds good. im always surprised how little railfanning is done on this line! Thanks for sharing!
