Despite its NAME the Nightmare before CHRISTMAS I count that more as a Halloween based Movie instead especially since Jack Skeleton in 1 part of the film itself DOES say Happy Halloween IN it.

I read that Maggie Smith referred to Christopher Plummer as Christoper BUMMER during the filming of this film. Since it’s a Hungarian-American film she also referred to the film as “the ghoulash”. 😂😂

Dame Maggie Smith has been one of my favorite actresses since I first really saw her in the “Prime of Miss Jean Brodie”! I was the same age as Miss Brodie’s girls and wanted to be on of her girls! That was how impressed with Maggie Smith that a movie role made me want to be in Maggie Smith’s orbit from then to now. I followed her career diligently and I have seen most of her movies and Downtown Abbey, naturally. She was someone special and a true acting legend! RIP Dame Maggie Smith. TY for your remarkable gift and inspiring body of work for the last 70 years. A Super Star that didn’t spend to much time commercializing herself doing talk shows, commercials, interviews. A classy, regal, kind wide eyed unique talent who never seemed to upstage any of her colleagues she worked with. A Grand Dame! ☮️💟🙏🤟👍🥰💗
