Sorry, i have a question. Are Nails going only through the hoofcast or like in a normal shoeing through the white line of the foot and then through the hoofcast? Thank you!

@@morgancalvi6675 I suggest figuring out which of them relates to hoofcare, and figure out which one it is based on context. I hope that helps :D

Ive been shoeing race horses,standardbreds for almost 50 years and also training them.This gives real insight into what works.I have seen gains not with special shoes or special pads but with raising the angles,that will really help "brakeover" . I see folks cutting the heals down and then try to use gimmick shoes to cure their problem. Just give the horse more heal. Just an opinion,but one based on 50 years .

hello, i'm from the netherlands and i have a question about your full roller forging plateau. How high are the pitch and heels? would like to try to make it too. and how thick is the wedge pad?
@progressiveequineservices Жыл бұрын
The radius can be whatever it needs to be to suit the needs of the horse. I almost always use a 3deg wedge pad. If you look through my other videos you will find one on the application of full roller shoes

Have you ever walk in roller boots? Try! 🤣🤣🤣
@progressiveequineservices Жыл бұрын
It’s totally different as these shoes are positioned around the centre of rotation, unlike human roller shoes/boots.

What do you feel, in general, is an acceptable Palmar angle that works (sound) for the average horse.

Hello!I have been following you for about a year now, and I love your videos & posts and all the information you give us! Thank you so much! I was wondering if you have any videos explaining your thought prosess during the regular trim of the hoof and frog (How you see how much to remove and why)? You are the first farrier I have followed since my interest of hoofs began, and to be honest I am a bit sceptic of reading/watching other farriers to learn this😅 As I am not yet experienced enough to be critical of the information they give. After watching and following your page for a year, and seeing the results you have, I believe this is the best place for me to learn about this. If you have already done a video about it (and I just haven't found it yet) I would love to know the name of the video (or a link) so that I could study it 😊 Thank you so much for all the work you're doing in sharing your expertise!
