@@tracywilson5732 Thank you 🙏 there are many tutorials on KZbin for making paper netting. It’s basically sewing a grid-like pattern on paper and tearing out some of the paper. The pattern can be squares, rectangles or abstract. Some or all of the paper can be removed. The result is pretty cool.

Super grungy! You have made some very interesting pages, innovative and just plain different, I especially loved the sewn grid fabric piece…..though there were some lovely grungy splatters on paper too! 👻

Thank you! The sewn grid is actually paper haha. I have seen it done by other journal makers and should have noted who they are so I could give credit.

Super grungy! I love all the artistic, creative you created. I know it takes a lot longer to be artsy like you, rather than buying scrapbook paper from aisle 3. Love the images and how you took time to match them with a quote. Also love all the interactiveness with the flips, flaps, and folds. You should feel very proud!

I looooove the paper with holes and then sewing through the holes, the black painted flower petals, the hole in the sewn grid paper peeking to next page, the way the 4 petals fit so perfectly into the tiny tuck, the flip up black cheesecloth………. Why, oh why, is grunge sooo interesting? I would say it appeals to almost all your senses. My ears looooove the crunchy, scrunchy, crinkly sounds, my fingers love the feel of various textures, my eyes love to absorb every little whimsical detail eagerly looking forward to the next page, my nose loves the smell of the coffee dyed paper with, perhaps, a bit on cinnamon mixed into some texture paint. Thanks for sharing your exquisite booklet!
