The people that handled these notes in the 1840s lived in constant terror of the Comanches. To me, that is another amazing story behind these notes....what a time in history. If you haven't check out Empire of the Summer Moon, a story of the Comanche, the Texas Rangers, and Quannah Parker

Very cool serial number Dustin. That is in amazing condition and on an older note to boot. I am still trying to learn from you about grading but as they say a little knowledge can be dangerous so I am going to live dangerous and gives this one a shot guessing it might have made a 66 EPQ if it weren't for the margins which look a little off so I would guess a 65 EPQ
