When Bond opens the lid of the bomb there is 32 seconds on the clock. When the guy switches off the bomb the clock is at 7 seconds, which means that`s a time period of 25 seconds but from 32 to 7 seconds on the clock the video clip is 46 seconds. Think I`m right that means the time scale doesn`t add up.

Watching a few famous scenes from 'Goldfinger' this evening, I've noticed that the editing is playing around with the strict sequence of shots. Here again. Bond clearly has taken hold of the wires in the centre of the bomb mechanism. A couple of seconds later his hands are back to their groping around. Next his hands are back on those same wires. All the while the shots of his face similarly are clearly out of order in his body language in relation to the bomb. Peter Hunt must have played around with the footage to create what he considered a better dramatic flow.

The bomb was deactivated 7 seconds before it explodes, while its highly frequent they make scenes deactivation bombs 1 second before to explode. Why don't make scenes deactivating bombs some minutes or several seconds before to explode, its important to make new stuff.

The bomb was supposed to be stopped at three on the timer, but they switched it to "007" for obvious reasons. But Bond's line "Three more clicks and Mr. Goldfinger would have hit the jackpot" stayed in.

That explains why I thought I had seen the bomb at 003 then. I even thought it was 004. Here I was thinking they released the movie with 2 takes, and yet it came down to editing.
