Great tribute to why Mark and good content! This is a great show especially the analysis of post games is excellent,great analysis by butcher!(and the upcoming games) Looking forward to next week Great work keep it up

Fantastic episode... The more I hear from MA, the more confident I am about our future. We have the perfect Trinity... Investors who have backed us to the hilt and lets the CEO breathe... A CEO with a vision and drive who lets the Manager breath... Then finally a manager who improves everything/everybody he touches and who is destined for the top! Long may it continue!

Ive not met Marcus so don't know him as a human being. However, as a football fan I can testify as to what a canny striker he was. Quick thinking, both feet, in the air, a menace to opposing teams. He seemed to score every week. Quality. Best of luck with the annoying MND stuff Marcus. Im sure you'll still be appearing in the area when the rest of us weren't expecting you for years to come 🙂 All the best from a Leeds fan. Marching on together 🤍

As Luke Chambers said in the video the fans need to be the 12th man for 90+ mins every game. A point to raise is that I am disappointed like many at empty seats at home games and a less than full capacity announced when many of us cannot get a ticket that has to be sorted out immediately

Really good to hear from Mark Ashton on the show and I think Mark interviewed him brilliantly. In a way all the other ‘bits’ kind of got in the way of just a really interesting interview between the two Marks, Russell and Chambo.

The question what year was Ipswich Town founded is misleading. The answer given is 1978 but that was not the year Ipswich Town Football Club was founded. 4 Schoolboys from Ipswich School including the Sherringtons formed a football team in 1878 called Ipswich Association Football Club. they played at Broom hill. In 1888 IAFC merged with Ipswich Rugby club at Portman Road to become Ipswich Town Football Club so in truth the original question should have correctly been answered as 1888.

It's down as 16th October 1878. The club was in its centenary year when it Won the FA cup.

@@johnjameswilson74 maybe a different celebration? Ipswich started in 1878 but weren't called Ipswich Town until 1888 same as Manchester United started in 1878 but weren't called Manchester United until 1902 or Arsenal started in 1886 but weren't known as Arsenal until 1915. 🤷

I will always remember my first game was Swansea at home in 1982. A 3-1 win and the scorers were Wark, Burley and OSMAN!!!!! I was so excited I nearly fell off my milk crate. Town fan ever since. Love the show.

I used to live in chapel st Mary Paul cooper lived just behind my school and I remember him awarding sports day prizes,,,most of the Ipswich lived in chapel st Mary back in 77/78 including the boss Bobby Robson’s
