I remember before COVID and during COVID I was getting amazing casino deals and I never spent more than a few hundred in the casino. Since then I've gotten literally zero casino deals. My last carnival cruise I even spent a lot more time in, accumulated I think over 800 points and still haven't gotten a thing from carnival. I guess like everything else, they're getting greedy and want you to spend more and more to get anything

@@showguyer With the new system, on a 7 day cruise you have to get at least 4000 points to get a free sushi or Seafood Shack. My deals are nothing like they used to be either. I used to get $1000 free play, free room and free drinks. Not anymore. Now it depends what I want. If I get a balcony, I don’t get any free play. Ocean view, I get 1 - $200 and an inside room I get $500. But I’m still not complaining because it’s better than no deals and paying full price to cruise.

Went on Carnival Sunrise December 14-19th, won the jackpot twice along with many chips. Spent about 100 and made out with 280. You have to play out with the rocking of the boat. The S popped out twice but only once daily. Then after the second time I redeemed the BONUS. The S was never seen the rest of the cruise.

@@naomicordova1216 It should be left the way it is. Why should a first time cruiser who pays for a suite get to board first when Diamond and Platinum have paid for many cruises? It should be as it is…. Wedding party, Diamond, Platinum, Suites and then Faster To The Fun.

That’s correct. If you have loyalty on a cruise line. Go to another one and loyalty match. I did it on MSC using Carnival Diamond and I was Gold before ever stepping on their ship.

Agree about the powdered eggs, the Mardi Gras scrambled eggs in the buffet are awful, went to the omelet stations to get eggs in the am, and I'm usually ok with the buffet eggs. We actually think the 'meat' at the MDR, and at the steak house on the Mardi Gras was the best we've gotten on any cruise ship on Carnival, RCL or MSC. Mardi Gras is a nice ship, did you book the transatlantic this fall when the Mardi Gras goes to drydock for 19 days in Spain? We booked it both ways to Spain, and back to Port Canaveral 19 days later!

That’s very nice. I love cruising as you already know, but not sure about two seven days trips across the pond. We are looking at one that starts in Rome and comes back to Tampa. Yes, the eggs are Carnivals buffet are absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even eat them and I’m really not a picky eater. Enjoy your awesome cruise. Thanks for watching.

Good spot on the bubble with a bigger balcony, we try to stay on the port side of this class as the outdoor smoking is on the starboard side, and we're both non-smokers.

They ruined it by taking out the aft lounge where they used to do the comedy shows and put cabins in it's place. Then moved the comedy shows to a "L" shaped lounge on the promenade deck. It is my least favorite Carnival ship for sure.

Just checked into my Carnival Luminosa cruise from Brisbsne at 12.10 this morning doing so has meant I get to check in at the port very early 🙂( it’s 303 am GMT+ 10 in Brisbane right now ) so looking forward to sitting back and doing NOTHING unless I want to- my non negotiable plans are morning and afternoon tea every day and a cocktail at the AFT of the ship at sunset 🌅 I plan on eating early ( even though on land I eat very late so I can get to any evening entertainment I want to.) Glad you had good weather on this cruise ( so far anyhow ) Keep the content coming I shall keep watching- just got in from work we are in the middle of a heat wave right now (37c today 98.6F and VERY humid ) David Young 40 Brisbane Australia.

Agree nothing being said on the ship cause no ones reporting cause they don't want to lose their cruise or get isolated! Carnival reported we had over 1000 kids on our cruise which might have had something to do with it???

Hey guys Do carnival serve those chocolate martini’s on every ship? I am sure they all have the chocolate martini's. But I will be on the Venezia at the same time. I think you will be fine under the casino. Its usually carpet so there shouldn't be a lot of banging. Have a great time.

I just got off the Firenze. They gave me free drinks at 2000 pts., and a free cruise at $4000 points. I think they consider more than the points in their offers. For example, this was my first cruise. Also, I chatted with the host a lot to make sure she knew me.

@@clayhale6573 for me, yes. Had we had an interior room, we would not have seen the whales along side of the ship when we entered the inside passage. In my opinion, I wouldn’t book an Alaskan cruise without a balcony.
