Aside that, You get to use the Guardian I ( VC 1 & 2 Handgun ) and Guardian II ( VC 3 Handgun ) in Ghost Squad. Additional Fun Fact: Guardian II is designed by Tokyo Marui who are known for their Airsoft Guns.

2:00 The great thing about the game Corso Italiano is that it's made with so much detail. When an NPC runs away, they start to cheer their car when they hit a wall. Sometimes there are NPCs with cameras that keep taking pictures when they hit a wall.

Bug: In "GTI Club" (the normal 1st version) the brakes get stuck! I am not sure if it is a wrongly simulated clutch, but usually after drift or collision the car stops accelerating above the current speed and makes a grinding (skid??) noise, which can be only ended by decelerating the car to 0 km/h. ("Hard Drivin" does something similar by starting a skid mode when driving fast too far offroad or steer too much, that can be only stopped by halting, which I expect to be a penalty for bad driving and not a bug.) I am not sure if this is a controls or unemulated protection issue (so the game can be played but not won). Possibly it has to do with force feedback steering wheel (displaying error during boot). If it has e.g. 2 potentiometers with spring in between, those do not align only while the wheel is turned with force, the game may consider misalignment as extreme jerks at the steering wheel and thus enter a skid mode as penalty for bad driving, which here never ends by faulty force feedback emulation.

Thank you for the info, ill play a bit with the mame analog setup to get rid of the quick centring etc to avoid the ''bad driving''. I think i need to decrease the inc and dec speed. the screeching penalty does happen when i make sharp turns, everything makes so much sense now haha. btw i saw a comment from a guy on reddit that he solved the issue by using a xbox controller, could be luck, but maybe worth a try, only need to find someone with an xbox lol. Are you using a streeringwheel btw?

@@jazz1979 Nope, I do use an Xbox controller (corded Xbox 360 gamepad on Win10). I have no compatible steering wheel (only an old DOS thing without adapter).

@@RelectroTheWolf oddly enough, they aren’t clones, someone found a way to hex edit the rtc files to change the region! Same can be done with xtrial racing and gti club 2

After seeing a wave of region clones of the Konami Hornet and NWK-TR hardware games (which they also have the timekeeper RTC ROM files) added to MAME back in late 2022, it makes so much sense on how it was all made possible! These new region variants will definitely be a great addition to the MAME library in the future! 🤩

@@coolpup6385 Yes, i agree. Consider that its hard to emulate these Konami, Taito, Namco and Sega 3D boards because its hard to have a documentation or a good working board after 20+ years of release.

Because this game got cancelled like Konami's 90's 3D arcade game Fighting Bujitsu and Atari's 90's 3D arcade fighting game 10th Degree. The game here got found despite being cancelled so it got uploaded onto the Internet and since it runs on Atomisware arcade engine, gamers were able to modify it to run on Sega Dreamcast and Dreamcast emulators (which rhey also got other Atomisware arcade games ro run as well). This game was developed by Masahiro Oniguchi who in rhe past had helped work on other 3D arcade fighters like Virtua Fighter and Tekken and Toy Fighter Some obscure company bought the assets for this game and reworked it into another arcade fighting game called Jingu Storm which did actually come out to arcades.
