What a waterlevel!! I was focused to located the big rock (which was now under water) in the middle of the river (just before entering the small gorge) I saw it at 5.11, you all stayed left there to avoid the big stopper. Amazing waves at China Hole.

Really appreciate this comment!! Alot is happening but im very well even tho I dont post any videos. I got a new job, bought a small farm in Sjoa, renovating the new (very old) farm house and we have a kid on the way so no time for editing kayaking video any time soon sadly😅

That roll under the log was absolutely cool! How long was that portage up and over those cliffs to scout that waterfall? Must have been tough and exhausting.

Thanks! Kongsberg padleklubb is the nearest kayakclub that I know of. I would start with contacting them. They also have courses you can join. Also meny of the kayakers in Kongsberg go to Telemark to go kayaking.

The water color and clarity is unreal. Filip, your videos really need to be longer - Complete runs! It's always best when you have others in front of you - gives a better perspective of your POV.

Its a nasty undercut on the left, on lower flows we run it but at this flow and higer its just easier and safer to do the ferry and slide over the rock.

This is my favorite video of yours - the river is amazing. I'm glad you filmed its length. Longer is always better. Thanks for taking me on the ride. Also Pocket Saws (hand chainsaw chain) are the way to go. Easy compact and go fast.!
