When new vids

So I picked up this expansion only to find that the rulebooks, reference sheets, and player screens were all in English, but all of the tiles were in German. Even though the iconography on the tiles gives a pretty good idea of their effects, I still spent a couple hours today using Google translate to make a reference sheet for myself. I clicked on your vid hoping for a closeup look at the tiles. Let's just say that Google translate wasn't dead on, but close enough. Thanks.

Can't go back, but I just wanted to let you know I loved the Jon and Dean videos when you were a team. Watching your rapport put me in a good mood. I remember trying to find Ginkgopolis many years ago and even considering paying over a hundred bucks for it before the reprint, but ultimately gave up. After the reprint I had lost motivation for it (gotta remember that!) and then a different video reminded me of this game so I'm now looking at reviews again and started here. Thanks!

I bought the Harry Potter version thinking it would be the best of both worlds, however I've since learned that the quality of the dice in the original game is much better. Is that true?

Using a block of marble allows you do perform ANY of the three actions you wish, not just the exact same one you did.

Great explanation of the various games. I’m not a die hard solo board gamer but there are times when others aren’t available or there’s too many other complicating factors. Legacy of Yu looks so appealing as a solo board game. I may need to take the plunge. Hadrian’s Wall has an appeal as 1 - 6 players, but may be complex especially trying to teach it to 6 players. Thanks for your review!

I really appreciate the fact that you've mentioned how much Dean gave this game but it could have been even more beneficial if you were also mentioned in a word or 2 why. Recommending to go listen to the podcast is a good idea but not everyone has time. Nevertheless, this recommendation could have been more beneficial as well if you were mentioned the episode number.

Too luck dependent and ends before you can truly get a sense of exploration or development #4-Unmatched: Do we really need more of this game? There are dozens of expansions already with thousands of character combos. Who is asking for more? #5-Arnak Expansions: The true GOAT in the video. Expands a brilliant game with even more interesting asymmetric characters. This one is the one to get.

Wow, I've been more and more interested in solo gaming lately, and Legacy of Yu sounds really good! I need to play this, I'm very intrigued.

Totally agree on the Sam Phillips artwork, he's my favourite artist in board games right now. It's refreshing to see his more comic style artwork when most games focus on a painted style. Hadrian's Wall and Raiders of Scythia are both in my top ten so I can't wait to try Legacy of Yu. Unfortunately Australia is about 12mths behind the rest of the world for most board game releases!

Like the Mini format - more please! Appreciated the blurbs on overall feel, what games it shares similarities with as well as what sets it apart.
