Morten this is what I so luv about your channel, you aren't afraid to do things differently than most viewers, you could have just did pictures and talked, but no you went through the extra mile to show not just the differences among tables, but digital as well, way to go Morten, way to go. I did something similarly this month with a Denon DP3000ne, Technics SL1200GR and a VPI Classic and even though the two direct drive tables had similar drive, especially in the bass region, they sounded different with the Denon being smoother and the Technics being brighter. The VPI Classic has the better arm and detail retrieval was better overall. I wanted to know especially since the Denon uses a different power supply, similar in design to the updated Technics SL1200GR2. The Denon is more neutral and warm. Cartridge used so far between all three is the Hana ML. It is just amazing how different, even with the same music, turntables can sound.

Yes, it is quite fun finding out the best combination you like. I also found the technics sounding a bit brighter, but also a bit "faster" and "tighter" on the dynamics, where the Yamaha table was warmer og more laidback sounding. What you like, must be up to you. Both sounds great to me. Keep experimenting and let us know what you learn!

Seems like there aren't going to be economies of scale with this monitor and the integrated stand is what's driving up the price. Not many folks are going to buy this. One reason is Genelecs are purchased more by pro audio enthusiasts that are likely more ruthless about measurements and objective performance. And the asking price for these is equivalent to the 8341 and is coming dangerously close to the 8351s.

thank you very much for this detailed review, do you consider this speaker a good choice for tube amplifiers. my favorite genre is scandi jazz such like lars danielsson, terje gewelt or bugge wesseltoft, their recordings always comes in excellent quality and impressing soundstage. thanks in advance

Wish they make a product only streamer, no built in dac with more digital connections. I bought a seperate DAC but couldnt decide a sub 1000$ streamer with Linear Power supply. All Auralic, Aurender, Lumin streamers expensive.

I bought an A6 second hand. The main reason for me was that I can play Apple Music lossless. I’m very happy with that part of the product. I’m not too impressed with the DAC. The imaging is not great. I’m now using coax out to the internal DAC of my Rega Elicit. Sounds much better.

If your friend used the XLR outputs (which he should have) what he says sounds like an absolute phase issue with the input of his preamp, check the XLR pin configuration of both units, some gear as pin 2 + other - if that is the case you inverted the signal, my SACD player Marantz SA7S1 has this important feature as well as my ML 326S preamp. Some recordings are out of the absolute phase so it is nice to have a preamp where I can check my CD disc, some sound night and day better. I love CDs and that is all I buy with players like the SA7S1 my older Esoteric k-01 you find just how good CD sounds and the only limit on their sound quality is the mastering of the disc itself same for LP which I grew up on, sold my whole LP collection and I have never looked back, there Is more myth to LP's sound being better than in life in use. No LP sounds the same on any system because the table itself, the choice of arms, cartridges, all change the sound of the same LP being played, NOT to mention how well the TT was setup along with the cartridge. Great CD players are constant in sound quality in the chain, after that, it gets down to your room acoustics (#1) and speakers and their setup. I've tried streaming and it is nowhere near as good as CDs, much like streaming a movie and then playing the Blu-Ray or 4K version of the same movie there is no contest, the disc stands out both visually and sound-wise. Lastly, like all gear look at the size of the power supply, which impacts the sound big time, this is why the Esoteric SACD players stand out, K03s and the K01s have a power supply of a small amp, and the K-1 does not have one transformer but 4! thus the weight of almost 80lbs of a CD player, compare this to one weighting 12-25 lbs, no contested in sound quality. You need a huge power supply on preamps also, which is why companies like Naim sock it to you by selling you an add-on power supply to add to the preamp you just purchased, why not build it right the 1st time? My preamp weight is at 40 lbs my amp 120 lbs and the Marantz close to 40 lbs. Anything can pass a signal and make music, but that is not the point it's how that music is reproduced and the quality of that sound. Save buy good gear and stop wasting money on the newest giant killer, good gear can last 20 years or more, and in the long run that is way cheaper than spending money over and over.

Can I ask your advice plz ?🙏..you mention that to cross over at 80hz with the A10s would de ..burden them of the low base and maybe improve midrange . Buchardt themselves offer a Mastertuning for the A10 cutting the bass off at 60hz so perhaps intimating that below 60hz is a good starting point for the new sub . Would you say that 60hz or 80 hz or dare I say 70 hz is the best crossover point from A10 to Sub10 ..? I appreciate sub 10 is not released quite yet ( I have 2 on order ) but the where the A10s hand over to the sub will be critical 👍

I had an oppo 203 for 8 years, but started becoming a bit laggy with new 4ks,I replaced it with the reavon 110 and found the picture slightly better than the oppo.i recently bought a magnetar udp800,and I have to disagree about the picture quality. It's head and shoulders the best visual presentation I've seen .so much more detail on display and depth compared to the oppo and the reavon really a premium product

This guy is just running down Eversolo picking faults on a marvelous streamer. I bought the Master Edition and I love it. He talks NOTHING about the quality of the sound but picks faults all those that are not related to the quality. Do I love his video? NO WSY. He is a shitty blogger that suggests you buy a ten-year-old Sony. I have blocked his KZbin videos. He is probably paid to do a hitman job. Lol.

Did you see the video? Probably not. You did not understand it, thats for sure, as you were to busy defending a product you like. This is not a full review, its simply a comment pointing out some areas that are not working well at the moment. I have even been helping eversolo out improving the product. Instead of stirring up crazy conspiracy theories, you could simply prove me wrong, by commenting your own experiences on the issues? Have you used it for large filebased collection? Do your homework, instead of trying to defame people trying to give perspective to consumers. The channel aint even monetized!

Thanks for the reviews Morten. I'm enjoying your light-hearted but thorough approach to these videos. With the SU-G700MKII, really like this amp but I'm wondering if it's still a good buy in 2024? I see it was released almost three years ago which makes me wonder where it's at in terms of product lifecycle. In reality it has just about everything I need (except perhaps for an HDMI port) but I'd hate to be late to the party if an MKIII is on the cards in the near future (perhaps with HDMI included like on the newer SU-GX70. Any thoughts?

I would love too see Technics implement the room correction system in the higher end amps. The GX70 gives more value that way, and sounds strikingly similar.

The Buchardt A10 is a system that you must listen to and let develop in your mind. With all the tunings, I have to think it will have that intimate sound signature. The Klipsch powered speakers will bring a sound that everyone can remember from our youth. Just hit that button that expands the sound. We all liked it. Buchardt is making a great powered speaker here. I prefer this to any offering from Klipsch.
