There are 10 episodes but Disney Plus only uploaded the first 9 so they must be waiting for the TV Disney Channel to catch up. I cannot say for sure regarding Max returning, media are reporting that he claimed he confirmed that but I can't tell, what I can however tell is Theresa is returning and they clearly shot more episodes since it was mentioned that Raven from That's So Raven and Raven's Home AND Danielle Fishel from Boy Meets World and Girl Meets World were directing episodes but neither one has been credited as a Director yet for any of the 9 episodes.

yeah this is a big problem in the industry. a big factor of this is how the companies are too scared of flops to make anything new. they just push out new content they know people will watch because it's from a popular ip.
