Not many bands can recapture and old vibe they had with modern songs. They brought it and showed how you can still sound like you did in the classic Mark II, even without Blackmore, and (RIP) Lord. I heard this and Pictures and was taken back to 8 years old in 1984, Perfect Strangers.

After all these years I think deep purple's got another hit. This song rocks if this came out back in the seventies with the original purple it still would have been just as cool unbelievable playing the new guitar player is amazing I love that guy great sound great feel this band has defied time more so than the stones

I was 14 when Black Night was released in 1970 I'm now 68 years old and still love this band very much superb!!

Ask Sammy Hagar! Freaks of nature (and training)! I saw Deep Purple about 8 years ago at a free outdoor show in las Vegas. His voice was great but he definitely uses it differently. Quieter at the mic. Moved the screams to the back of his throat. Sweet Child in Time… excellent! Robin Zander of Cheap Trick is still fantastic, but you can tell he is using his voice differently Geddy Lee did not do well on Rush’s early songs at the Rock n roll hall of fame. In fact, for the last decade he had a very different sound… more back of the throat. In fact I saw Rush in Portland on the first leg of a tour (2112 I believe) and Geddy lost his voice 3 songs in. Kind of talk sang the rest in a lower register. Don’t get me started on David Lee Roth. He gave us his all early on and his vocal abilities are but a shadow of his former self. But I still love him!

Love the New Purple Song. I still remember 1st time Listening To Deep Purple in Rock and LIve in Japan and Machine Head! Child in Time the first time listening to Ian's Screams! Gillan still sounds so amazing even at 78 years old. I love the New Guitarist. Ritchie quit doing Blackmore's Night please! it sucks!
