Mr Elkis thank you so much for posting our Ohshima teaching! It took me back to the 80s when I first joined, I so well remember how good he was at teaching, along with his charm and wide knowledge base as well. Here we see him preserved at the height of his career demonstrating Kwanku. Classy guy, the g.o.a.t. of karate instructors!

"Pure gold - thank you !" This was the time frame I was training before going back into the military. I'm biased, but I think this was the best time to be part of SKA and receive the best of Mr. Oshimas treasure chest of knowledge & experience.

At least one video where we can see Tsutomu Ohshima practice himself! Thank you for posting it. Now I understand why this exercice is quite difficult to do for so many karatekas, and why it is so difficult pour seniors to teach that! Do you have a video of Tsutomu Ohshima performing nage waza? Shure it would be interesting. And long distance kumite too.

How frustrated, bitter and narrow-minded you must be. Putting others down to make yourself better shows a very poor attitude. Do it better. And show the world how great you are at leading trainings and how many people follow you. I have been training since 1982 under Ohshima Sensei who is now 90 years old and I am still training, I have not regretted any training.

Thank you so much for these posts of Sensei in the early days! I came up in that era, and these videos not only illustrate seminal technical issues, but also bring back strong memories of Sensei's strict eyes and generous warmth.

Reuven Elkis, Thank You very much for sharing ! It is such a privilege to see Ohshima Sensei demonstrate the actual techniques and gain a better understanding of them. It is equally touching to see how those who practice under him are connected throughout the world with the techniques and mentality he has imparted. Thank You !!! Los Angeles, California, USA.
