Sure wish they would have made it easier to set the hydrant flange a set amount above grade. OR at least given a place in the part metadata to include the hydrant elevation. I have to find the closest hydrant bury depth part and then play with it till I get the 4 inches above grade at flange, then I have to create a custom expression to show the flange elevation in a label...if you know a better way, please please let me know.

They took features out of "Plant 3D" and realized that if you got those features out of Civil 3D you wouldn't pay for Plant 3D, so they disabled 1/2 the Plant 3D features instead of doing right for the customer.

Id say the runways are long due to the higher altitude. 4300 feet or something like that. Ive driven down i 80 25 times never gone through scottsbluff being in a hurry. Always been curious about scottsbluff. That and carhenge. Not sure where that is. If i ever go down i 80 again im going through scotts bluff.

No, you missed the point of the video! It was created to show Autodesk how to duplicate the state and then fix it. Since you are here, Autodesk is obviously a crappy software company that can't fix this simple issue.

I have cogo point with zero elevation. I have also TIN on my drawing. Is it possible to raise cogo to TIN without creating surface ?

And for anyone wanting to add a "rotate" parameter, just remember not to select the rotate parameter when adding the second selection to the stretch parameter (the one with 180° angle offset). Because if by mistake you add the rotate parameter in both stretch selections they will offset themselves and your rotate handle won't move with the stretch handle side, and won't function properly. (I put both the stretch and rotate angle on the same side)

Hi Christopher, I have seen your video, but I still have a doubt. Would this work with "NULL" structures? I´ve been given a model built with "NULL" structures and they want me to automatically create a report given the angle between different pipes connecting into each "NULL" structure.

Chris I find a quicker method if you are interested is to select lines right click select add to surface. To delete select lines delete then type oops command to return lines to drawing but not surface. Good if you gave 100s of lines not grouped named well in a surface.
