Rarely feel like this but the duke rated that fan far too much, especially after the seller asked his advice a second time with the extra cash plonked down . Of course, they know it may not sell, but £220 seemed a fair price.

I have the exact same Aston model DB5 1/8th scale cost close on £1k to buy and build but this seller hasn't got the set of books that go with it.

I know it would have cost a lot more to buy the monthly magazine with the parts alone even before building the Aston Martin than £400 . Here is what it cost to get the parts for the build The lovely James Bond Aston Martin DB5 model being advertised in weekly magazine parts looks good at £1.99 for starters BUT they dont tell you clealy it's £6.99 per week thereafter and you need to buy 85 issues to make the model! Do the maths and it's a shade less than £600!

The 2 with the watch were deluded and greedy. The watch didn't work was missing the strap and valued at £1500 to £2000 reserve set at £2500 because they looked online and one sold for that which probably worked and was in better condition. Some people are just purely greedy especially when only paying £50 for it

Interesting accordeon marked "Geraldo" was used in the known danceband Geraldo and his Orchestra, this accordeon can be seen in some of the photos of the orchestra from around 1940
