Being a parent can be very hard during Christmas. On 12-24-2009, there was a knock on our front door. I supposed it was a neighbor bringing over some Christmas cheer. Instead it was law enforcement serving a foreclosure notice on our house. My wife and I fought through Christmas that year for the sake of our boys, but it was hard. However, we did manage to hold onto our house and fifteen years later we're still there. Christmas can truly be the most wonderful time of year but please lookout for family, friends and neighbors who may be struggling.
